True, a spring or short bungee cord does a very good job.
Also, using the spring return for use on the Classic Cast and Classic Turret works very well. I've been doing that on the .44 Mag press for a bit, with great results. There's a slight increase in double-charging with certain corner-cases if one's not paying attention, but I think most reloaders are pretty responsible folks anyway, so it shouldn't be an issue in actual practice.

I'v learned so much from your videos. You should be on Lee's payroll. Keep it up.

    Hello Cowboy T
I’m not sure if you still monitor your channel but I started reloading back in 2010 and used your videos to help me with my Lee Pro 1000. I am going to start reloading .357 and now your videos will help me once again. I see your replies to many posts in reloading forums and find they are very education and look to you as one of the “experts”. I’d like to ask if I could contact you with my 357 questions. Thank you for your videos.

Yes, I still do, and I'm glad the videos helped! Turns out what you're seeing with .38 Special is directly applicable to .357 Magnum as well. The only major difference will be the powder charge, since .38 and .357 use the same bullets. I don't mind if you ask questions; plenty of people have helped me...but I hardly consider myself an "expert". :-)

I've seen some of those collator videos, and yes, they are informative and helpful. If Lee had priced theirs higher than they do, I'd be making my own as well. The thin cardboard trick for 9mm is one of the slicker ideas I've seen in that regard.
I'd love to see what you've come up with as well. Any chance of a video?
