The JAAA has always been the problem. The JAAA has always been in conflict with the athletes, the coaches and any one that comes near. Time to remove all of the JAAA and let's start a fresh. The JAAA thinks it is there to make sure everyone knows it is the boss.

I am yet to see an athlete whether local or otherwise that dominates the NCAA circuit and in that same year gp on to dominate a world champs or olympics. I am yet to see it.

I do believe he lost the race when he gazed at Fred Curly closing down on him he knows he was faster than this field but the problem was he was never pressured by any runner clocking 9.79 and 9.81 at any time in his short career but I do believe that Noah Lyle's career is in danger by Thompson in the 100m and Tebago in the 200m in another year or two these me could be unbeatable in their favorite events or competing with each other in the 100m and the 200m

All of this doesn't address the financial issues that black Jamaicans are experiencing. 21 white people own Jamaica. Chinese are taking over Jamaica. You have more problems than medals.

One of the main problem is Jamaican athletes are always injured. They would have won more medals if Elaine Thompson, Shelly Ann Fraser and Shericka Jackson are injured.

I can't stop shaking my head every time I listen to the people who know the workings of the JAAA and JOA. Danny is the second person, and Juliet bring the first that said people in the JAAA have been there since they were running😮. Now that in itself needs to change. They should all have a time limit that they can serve and new members elected after their time is up. They shouldn't hold that seat until they're old and grey. That's how complacency and redundancy set in. These people probably went in with good intentions and got corrupted along the way by the "old foot them" in the organization. The same thing applies to the JOA. They all need a separate entity that they answer to and not themselves. They can skirt around all the issues being raised, but a change is evidently needed.

I am in support of this. Both of these entities are to be blamed for what occured in Paris... and most of us could see it coming... as the signs of troubke were already evident well ahead of the Olympics. We do need a new vision and a new set of leaders in both entities. They are grossly unprofessional and lacking in understsnding of the entities' roles. Make the changes NOW!

I saw Kishane face before the race and he looked very focused. Then they start playing that music and held the athletes behind the blocks longer than normal, his face changed and it appeared he seemed jittery and nervous. I believe this affected him. Good riddance no more Paris

I agree with Danny, these Jamaican Athletes need people around them who can share in their experience and honestly fight on their behalf. So many Athletes coming up injured during these events should be a red flag but it's not even noticed. On three different occasions Jamaicans and Americans tied and the Paris automatically gave the higher medal to the Americans. Why not share in the medal? Where's the Jamaican push back on these decisions? These Athletes work hard to get to these games, they shouldn't be short changed. They deserve better. Also, It seems many Jamaicans only recognize their athletes success, not their potentials. That's what really separate them from the Americans. The Americans recognize potentials (see Sidney McClauhlin), Jamaicans have lots of naturally talented athletes but they have way to many people around them who only see wins, not the athletes potentials.

exactly my point why stick to a smaller contract when granted a bigger one and seems to be refusing it that means they are benefitting from Puma not Jamaica or the athletes but the ones who have the power they are benefiting under the table something is very fishy and I hope things changes starting from now.

How do we make a change? How is the leadership team for joa and jaaa elected? Do they run a campaign for us to see what the vision is? What we need is action at this point in time. We have similar conversations time and time again, but it's now time for action.

Either The JAAA and JOA resign NOW or they need to extend a HUGE Apology to the nation, they need to design formulas for changes going forward or they should turn badges in, effective immediately!!!!!

The JAAA & JOA needs to stop taking people who knows nothing about athletics and let the persons who can give technical assistance to the athletes to go to these games. It’s also unfair to suspend Danielle as well. We live in a time where people have freedom of speech, why can’t an athlete speak freely about what is happening to them? They should listen to the athletes because they are the ones who are competing. I agree with Danny the management team needs to be replaced with new members

Hello to you people Mr.haughton,Mr Clarke,Mr blackwood Mr McFarland,Mr Gonzales l can't remember the other name.most of all Mr.mcfarlane I can't forget you giving up your chance of winning a medal in that mens 4oom hurdles final just because the USA athletes false start and wouldn't leave the track when you have to leave for the race to continue and it wasn't you who false start.because the both of you was the favourite to win he didn't want🇯🇲to win,so people you see it is not now we are being robbed by the US and jt is not just merlen ottey alone.god be with you all🇯🇲

The former USA athletes are the same ones who become the coaches, the commentators, etc., and they are fully involved within the sport after retiring from their actual events, etc.,.

While I am happy for the field events.However my concerns is that without a proper strategy in place to grow these events, then it will not be sustainable.Track and field needs new thinking minus the bravado and egos we see on parade enabled by the lack of transparency and accountability.SMH Why not advocate for an athletes association? Wouldn't that help to address some of the issues?Love Danny Mac from long time.

Greg - You should know that an athlete doesn’t always have the privilege to take it easy in the round bc some rounds are difficult based on the athletes makeup. For the semifinal he was placed on the same group as Lyles, so you know that’s going to be a fast group. The funny thing is, if Oblique ran slower and failed to make it out of the rounds, you would be saying that ‘he should have known that he needed to run faster based on the group makeup’. I’m glad I don’t do track man, you guys are hard to please and many are wagonists. I’m still leaving the door open for Oblique. People were closing the door on Usain when he entered pro bc it was a rough transition

We need to develop the field along with the track. The USA have now been medaling in all the long distance events.

Congratulations to all the athletes. It may seem like we are over looking them and that’s not the intention. Going forward we just want to ensure that it’s better for them. JOA & JAAA need a clean house.

He's a very talented sprinter. There is no need to run so fast leading up to the finals since you can win from any lane in the 100m. In addition,if I were him, I would run more 200m to prepare for the 100m.This would make his fast twitch muscles stronger.

JOA worse than jaaa, as we dont have this level of ineptitude in Champs. Krauser , the SP Gold medal was the coach (or one of) of Rouge Stona. At his press Conference, he said he had to rush off to be with Roje as he is coaching him... One gold to another. DTD coach is her husband, so its even more than technical, it also mental and psychological. Greg, why dont the JAAA consult with distinguished ex- athletes like you?

These people offer no solutions. Its all about personal beefs. The JAAa does not have a proper setup consequently the athletes MUST be allowe to be accompanied by personal coaches. No high school coach must be imposed on adults. As long as the athletes are under private tutelage pating own way things will be this way. Instead of trying to takke over Francis and Mills athletes, provide support for those who don't have a club home but have potential
