I think she ran from lane 8 for one of 2 reasons. It was either put there because she was a late entry and that lane was open or she wanted to see what its like to win from that lane 😂. The former makes some sense to me.
I was very impressed with her season opener, her coach being the greatest female coach in history absolutely knew what it takes for her to be there whenever it matters, we the fans are just nervous because it’s a Olympic year
She is in fantastic shape just looking how she is built perfect specimen put on some musle and she is very happy which tells me she will be very difficult to beat
She was in lane 8 by her choice to be able to keep an eye on all the other competitors in order to secure a win without going full speed. Obviously she doesn’t want to reveal here initial form which is also why she keeps withdrawing. She chose this specific race because she knew it was a field she could totally control and she chose 100m instead of 200m because she is much more superior in the 200m where she do not have to test here initial race shape yet. It's good that she has been putting some work in the gym. You can see it in her physique. This should improve her strength. This explains her late season start...she has been busy. If she remains healthy, there will be some serious fireworks!!!!!!
She may not wants to place between Shelly and Elaine, so she's trying out the outside lane to see how fast she can run from there. She'll probably have to run 10.50s to win from lane 8 or 9. This is my opinion anyway, of course they might be other reasons. Who knows!
Pretty obvious at end Tina clapping her hands was under instructions to get the jump so Shericka could get a site and a reality check back into basics and solid hit out....Tina just cruised last 10 another clue....Franno just given her a nod from past..... just a reminder i would say mind back on the job at hand.

Her season opener is ok. She is just race rusty. As the season goes on she will run faster times

The top athletes are sometimes too comfortable running in the middle of the track, so I guess she is getting ready for any and everything.
