Thank you. I've learnt more about South African rugby from comments like yours than from researching and producing this video. ESPN or Clint Eastwood should be making another movie this team
@@BlackRugby Couldn't agree more .. Richie, Dan Carter, et al .. truly once in a generation. And on the same field at the same time, simply unbeatable.
Rassie is king but there were some other fantastic coaches. I think it's worth a look into what could have happened if Jake White was not forced to resign and Peter De Villiers installed as coach / manager / puppet. He voluntarily and/or forcibly introduced affirmative action, made stupid decisions and let the team down completely. We must remember that the Boks won in 1995, 2007, 2019 and 2023. If I remember correctly Jake White had a very motivated team in 2007 before he was disposed of. What could have happened if he stayed on? Could the Springboks have won even more RWC finals?
Great video, much respect from an Aussie-based, die-hard Bok & Blue Bulls fan. I think all Bok fans agree with Rassie's sentiments when accepting the 2019 Coach of the Year award after the Japan RWC win ... "the All Blacks set the bar .. we work every day to try and raise our game to that bar". Thank you to the All Blacks & their supporters .. you are the benchmark and always will be. There is no doubt that the AB's will rule the world again, probably sometime soon. But I have to say, it makes me enormously proud of what Rassie and Sia's boys are achieving and the manner they go about bringing hope to a nation that needs it desperately. Rugby is the ultimate winner. Go the Bokke (and the AB's)!!
This Boks team truly appreciate how important they are to their nation, don't they. Incredibly inspiring even though we're on the other end of the results
Man what a vid! A breath of fresh air to see some self-reflection instead of hating on the Boks! This is how the AB's stand a chance of becoming number one again!
The Boks locks and flankers are certainly bigger than ours. I think the offshore player rule is about protecting the All Black brand and the private equity deal
Absolutely. Im ABs fan. 4 wins in a row speaks volumes of the changing nature of springbok rugby. They are a class act and worthy of the title of world champions. If the ABs cant win the world cup then id much prefer it to be another Southern Hemisphere team.
@@sergiofortuin1039 Yes Rassie hasn't solved the All Blacks but rather dissolved them, but this will put rugby in a new gear and perhaps in 10 years a whole different team is unbeatable for a while.
Take heart...many South Africans love the AB...and support them...there is no better team to play than the All Blacks...we measure ourselves against them...thank you for a great video...South Africans please support and subscribe.
Unfortunately, there's teeny weeny chance of that happening ever. In fact the opposite. Till 95 we were always 2-3 wins ahead, then the 25 years of bush folk being taught about rugby. Of course the odd coloured chaps like chests, habana and a smattering of the odd other shone but mostly really poor players forced politically to participate drove those exorbitant numbers of losses up. 😢
You have left out an important contributor to the Springboks success. The depth of talent that has been developed over many years and unlike many rugby nations all home-grown. There has been a huge improvement in the backline play. Rassie is prepared to expose this exciting new talent, much of it from previously disadvantaged communities, to Test rugby with great effect.
What a brilliant video - The RESPECT that the Springboks and ALL Blacks have for each other will always live on. They build up awesome COMPETITIVENESS that makes RUGBY great to watch.
As a South African. I have a lot of respect for the All Blacks! You guys play really well, and it truly is the clash of the titans when we face you guys!
Great video. Its been an amazing journey for us Bok supporters. From kiwi punching bag to double world champs. From the dark depression of the desperation years to the nervous, spine tingling euphoria of victory. Its been a blast!
Indeed Rassie is a Rainbow Nation's (SA) Rugby genius and the founder of this Rainbow Nation once said - "The greatest glory in living is not in never falling, but in rising everytime we fall" - this is exactly the impact and the kind of trajectory Rassie brought to the Spring Boks after the Boks were down and out for a good solid period of time - We love you Rassie - an Icon in the making through the game of Rugby - "Bashaye Rassie - Bashaye"
Absolutely love this video - From a Fijian 😊 really hit the nail on the head with 10:05 ...The NZ franchises should stop using the Aus teams as a yard stick for success ; they're on their own "healing journey" ...Thanks so much for this!
Springbok fan here, GREAT VIDEO! Every time we play against the AB's I know it's a 50/50 game, gut wrenching stuff till the last 80th min. There will always be that respect that shows true sportsmanship and love of the game.
The fact is that... I think Rassie is just a strategic genius....Yes, your turn AB, time to respond - you will be up and then we will and then you will - that is the nature of the game and what it should be! Respect!
Honestly coming from an South African this is a solid video and breakdown to say the very least. But maybe watch the series Chasing the Sun if you can. Rassie comes up with the most insane ideas but his coaching staff are basically using high level stats and knowledge to implement these ideas. They too deserve a lot of recognition as they can quickly establish what the team needs and need to focus on in order to win a game in the space of a week. Also their comments and way of talking is hilarious on the series as 25% of their vocabulary is swear words😂
Rassie is our leader coach The World Champions 🏆...three times World Champions 🏆...no boasting just extremely proud ...Hope is given by never quitting and reward comes ...Winning ...Rassie is top class rugby level 👏 Beatrix Strydom
I remember Ardie saying there are braai's in the carparks pre-match?! Could only dream of that here in Auckland. Was a massive rush to get the video out with huge delays; compromised on the quality of production but wanted to post and get in on the emotions, while still high, after the 2-test series. Sound is definitely better on this weekends new video
Brilliant video, thank you. I admire your honesty, bearing in mind how passionate Kiwis are about their rugby. Another unmentioned reason for Rassie's success is the fact that he loves his country more than money. He is staying on as Bok coach instead of going overseas to coach some top club and earning insane amounts of euro currency. In the process, he is developing lots of new Bok stars while his huge squad is mastering the new Bok style of play. You take him away and it's a new coach, a new team, a new approach, and nothing works against the ABs. Another thing, if you are good enough to beat the ABs, you have the ability to beat every other team. That's how good the AB are.
Great video - I so enjoyed it. Thank you. Another key feature of Rassie's plan was to develop and blood new talent - and this is on-going. He has enough players ready, in every position to field 3 world class teams! Supreme passionate tactician.
Thank you for your video. All Blacks are a amazing team and the team to beat if you want bragging rights. But yes Rassie is taking rugby and understanding rugby to a whole new level of thinking out of the box. Appreciate the honesty and respect. From a Bok supporter from South Africa.
I think RASSIE played a massive role in installing a mentality shift to be more aggressive in the carry and in the tackle in our forwards - getting everyone on the same page with our forwards with an emphasis on our physicality. We’ve always had big forwards but the DNA was lost a bit until RASSIE came along. Physicality also includes the fitness levels of the big men and then add a level of importance in representing your country Great video mate
Thank you. Was listening to a Tamaiti Williams podcast interview and he said the hard thing about prepping for the Springbok forwards running game was that the ABs all knew they weren't gonna pass or step at the line. But once they get a roll on it's super hard to stop
Our Rassie Brand Is the best 👌 thing that has happened to Rugby 🏉 Our Springboks are The Best in the World ...Rassie Brand Magic Bomb Squad...rotation of 53 players making Team work a reality not just a plan then striving for perfection every game Win draw or lose Rassie Brand just keeps looking at how to make all players individually as a team to give more with only winning in mind ...I trust Rassie Brand Magic will never change reason being he is the real 💯 deal ... God bless our Bokke.. Beatrix Strydom
Great vid. Loved watching the story from an AB perspective. But perhaps the most important part was your ending. Acknowledging what the Doctor and the team have done and also reminding us that this great time wont last forever and its what makes our game great. The AB's will be back, they have never left the party. Also the accent so thick you could lose yourself in the smoke of the braai.... Lekker my boet
SA were the Cinderella men of World Rugby in 2019, following their annus horribilis in 2017 whete they dropped results against Argentina and Italy. No-one on earth not draped in a St George flag wanted England to win that RWC final. They've since become a frankly scary proposition, combining traditional South African forward power with sparkling backline play. Combined with rather helpful rule changes designed to favour a more defensive, European-style game, its a blend that few in World Rugby are likely to effectively match for a while to come. Kiwi/Irish fan speaking.
South African here - there's a lot of Rassie's moves that are interpreted as genius, which are simply common sense, but also stemming from necessity (using overseas based players due to weak rand). The bomb squad was innovative, but it stemmed from many (esp AB's) saying we need to tire the Bok forwards, make them move around the park, then in the 2nd half they'll fall away. So I credit Rassie for making a logical move but mainly for having the balls to pull it off
So it was like foreign based clubs in effect, subsidizing SARU, as they pay top salaries outside SA keeping SA player employed and then Rassie can just track their progress with allignment camps etc. Great move. Unemotional decision about what can work and just do it.
I think you are oversimplifying the "moves" Rassie made by calling it common sense and a byproduct of the need to include overseas based players. If you followed Rassie's coaching career from his time at the Cheetahs all the way to Director of SA rugby you will be aware that Rassie is a meticulous planner. The one key element of Rassie's success is his apparent high EQ, which enables him to get his players to buy into his plan. It also allows him to get into the heads of the opponents.
Dude, I don't know who you are. But as a South African, I'd love to watch rugby with you, buy you a few beers and enjoy some Braai. You truly have a great way of speaking, understanding and explaining rugby to the masses without being bias to any one side. You're the type of pundits needed on TV.
A brilliant video. Well done! As a South American I wish would all the best. Exelent commentary, the best I have heard and not because you praised the Bokke but because your commentary was intertaining. Go well All Blacks!
I'm a SA nut but with Razor you have a new era coming. He is as inovative as Rassie and I'm looking forward to the new encounters (ignoring the current rugby chanpionship). The AB's are going to get better and more competitive. It's a matter of time.
Appreciate the kind words. Will just add, while Rassie is a tactical and man management genuis, his greatest skill has been to see the potential that opening up the game to the whole of South Africa could create and identifying the new skills and assests that would bring into our game. 60 million unique tribes of very different people, all coming from deep warrior traditions. South Africa was always the true sleeping giant of rugby ... we just could not figure away to come together and get the best out of our special rugby cocktail. Rassie's experience in the army (probably watching senior officers do a very similar job) is very much underappreciated in my opinion.

Mate, watching the social media reaction to this test series and the 2023 RWC, the passion and love South Africans have for the game is envious, to be honest!
We are a proud rugby nation robbed by Apartheid which then lead to quota systems for years which also robbed the world of the best Boks but we have finally thanks to Rassies message of unity got to a point where everyone has bought in to a 23 man squad where everyone is picked on Merit not colour. Once New Zealand allow overseas players to represent the black jersey too then we will finally after 50 years have the contesta of the past where on any given day one team can beat the other. You've had your 2 decades of dominance now we are having a purple patch. You are the team we love to hate but the respect is there maybe a little too much on our side for now. If we the Boks with our current squad click it's going to be a long day for anyone who plays us anywhere just like 2011 to 2017 ABs.
@@BlackRugby we are a people that pride ourselves on the bonds we build...so to see NZ and Aus pushing us out and telling us to suck it up...really hurt. In fact it nearly bankrupted SA Rugby, we literally had the private sector (Supersport/Multichoice) bail out the boks and local franchises (Stormers/Wp was put under administration had to sell Newlands Rugby stadium) Europe gave us a lifeline...it was not a popular decision as most fans didn't support the move...infact our franchises only officially start making money in 2026. So we are basically paying for the privilege of competing...our franchise players fly economy ( I feel sorry for our forwards) and have layovers in Doha...we're currently working on a deal with Emerits for direct flights. NZ and Aus really fucked us over...especially when you consider that the SA public is the largest Rugby watching public in the world. So ...when we play you guys...this is the message our players get...the job losses...disrespect and utter disregard for our partnership still holds a bitter taste for many. Now ...we have moved on and throwing everything we have at it. It was the best thing that happened to SA Rugby .
South Africa broke 4 records on Saturday. 1. We won the freedom cup for the first time in 15 years. (Since 2009) 2. We beat the All Blacks 4 times in a row since 1949. 3. We are the first team to keep NZ try less since 2018. 4. The first time WE kept NZ try less since 2001. Just to put all of this in perspective this shows how dominant NZ have been in World Rugby. We might have won the rwc 4 times but NZ is truly the best rugby nation EVER. They are the absolute pinnacle of this sport. Btw loved the vid. You my friend get a sub
From South African Bok supporter...love this video and your humour...must just say...these two teams are giants in rugby world for decades now...in my opinion the best 2 teams past, present and future...always respect to our worthy adversaries, the ABs...the World Cup will always go back and forth between these two giants🎉🎉🎉🎉
The fact that the All Blacks for years ,even a decade and more have been considered the team to beat is the greatest compliment and achievement. All teams cared about this. NZ are natural born Rugby players with natural "footy" skills that are actually untrainable. NZ will always be a behemoth of Rugby and will always have our respect, hence when we do beat NZ it's something to savour and celebrate. Much Respect.
"Guys made entirely of biltong, protein shakes, and determination...." you forgot anger😂😂😂😂 Thanks for a great video! We love Doc Rassie, and we love the respect he gets from Rugby fans!
Our Springbok boys are a special breed and they play with heart, but the AB's have an incredible, deep-rooted foundation from which they build their teams. They can never be written off.
Well said, "enjoy it while it lasts". All teams go through highs and lows. It's our time to ride the high at the moment. And yes, as also being a rugby player from a very young age (grade 4) , it is winning at all cost when we play, we do not fool around on a rugby field.
Rugby is in probably the best shape it has ever been in. There are now quite a few teams who can all beat one another on a given day which makes it all the more exciting.
Jealous down this Rassie is a genius indeed let's be honest !, this guy is getting wisdom from another dimension de dimension of His God Almighty period....I'm speechless
As a South African and Bok supporter, I will enjoy our current success rate. But I’ve never stopped being a great admirer of the NZ way. Hell, I even shed a tear when France knocked you guys out of the 2007 RWC, at that moment not realising this may have been one of the biggest contributing factors to the Boks winning that year. Our challenge is to maintain the level and innovation, and Rassie will not be there forever. I’m therefore not sure if this is likely. As far as the ABs and NZ rugby goes, I’ve always believed there’s no substitute for class, an otherwise rare commodity, but freely available in the Land of the Long White Cloud..
Love this. First time watching your channel and new sub. I love our rivalry with NZ and i know that NZ will come back hard. Can we get the Aussies to do the same, please? We need them back in the sport.
South Africa has produced 2 magnificent coaches , most probably the best in the world at the correct time, The late Kitch Christy and Rassie Erasmus ( Nienaber)……. Been a privilege to have watched both of them at what they achieved and for Rassie, what else he will achieve… 🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉
Now that was a really great video! Thoughtful selection, level headed commentary with tongue in cheek humour. I have subscribed. I hope to see more of this on many different rugby teams. Thank you from South Africa.
When you said "it's our turn to come back" I got shivers. I cant wait for us to play the All Blacks again. The competition between our nations has been a part of my life since 1976. As a South African you are the only rugby foe I truly respect. Salute. One note though: Kolisi. He has had a massive influence on the team and, i think, on us. It is magical, and for us, somehow, a softer way of being.
mmm gotta love the saltiness of the whole conversation, but, you gotta respect the man, cant deny his worth. He is the Michael Schumacher of rugby at the moment. It will not last forever, and South African fans should soaking it up as long as it lasts.
Springboks till I breathe no more.... love your video❤.. we've been down there where ya'll are now, there is No Greater Challenge than a Southern Hemisphere Challenge
As a Springbok fan I love the fact that the Springboks have played in fewer Rugby World Cups than England, New Zealand and Australia yet the Springboks have won the Rugby World Cup more times than anyone else.
There is nothing wrong with the All Blacks. They play brilliant rugby. The only problem is the Springboks are on another level at the moment, as simple as that. Great analysis by the way.
Great take on it ... Well done mate. Biltong protein shakes made me laugh 😂🎉 rassie Cray diving with a tank while we are free diving. Your analogies are amazing. Smart 🙌🏽
Very good review. It is good for world rugby that both the Boks and the AB's are on top of their game. A bit of rebuilding by the AB's required but they will be back. I am looking forward to the reciprocal biannual tours where the visiting team will be able to share the home team's home experience. Cant wait!
I was born and grew up South African, and will die an ardent Springbok supporter. Having said that, my mother is Kiwi and though we have always loved each other very much... that was not the case when it came to Boks/AB games. We loved rubbing in on each other when the other lost. Unforttunatley, I always hated it that we kept losing over the years, and I can see now it was because he had some bad coaches. We had some good ones that made it a good tight contest on the pitch, but the bad ones had us getting our butts kicked. Thanks for the very unbiased video, and I'm wondering how difficult that was for you. I hope we, like NZ, can create a culture of success and continuity from here on, because Rassie can't do it forever. If we can, SA and NZ will maintain this culture of passionate rivalry that has gone back over a century. Aus seems to be falling by the wayside as they have other sports they prefer and rugby union is sliding over there. I would love for us (SA & NZ) to maintain our iron grip over world rugby and always kick northern hemisphere butts, because that is the David and the Goliath. Yes, it can be said that SA & NZ are the big boys, but the NH has ALL the money. Anyway, thanks again for the videa.
Great video, well researched and analysed. One thing you didn't mention was that the Springboks have the utmost respect for the All Blacks and will forever measure themselves against NZ. 2 great rugby nations, each with their own strengths and with a H2H history that outweighs any other.

Thanks mate. We'll have to truly earn it by beating a great SA team
Very good and unbiased video. NZ had to experience the pain we had from 2017 57-0 drubbing. May the rivalry and respect never end.
Great Analysis! Much love and respect from the BOKS
The Boks locks and flankers are certainly bigger than ours. I think the offshore player rule is about protecting the All Black brand and the private equity deal
@@BlackRugby We need to export braai stands to NZ my bra
As a South African. Having beaten the allblacks in 4 consecutive games h2h is an achievement on its own.
Absolutely. Im ABs fan. 4 wins in a row speaks volumes of the changing nature of springbok rugby. They are a class act and worthy of the title of world champions. If the ABs cant win the world cup then id much prefer it to be another Southern Hemisphere team.
Boks deserve all the praise they're getting
@@sergiofortuin1039 Yes Rassie hasn't solved the All Blacks but rather dissolved them, but this will put rugby in a new gear and perhaps in 10 years a whole different team is unbeatable for a while.
Huge respect and appreciation for our biggest rivals, the All Blacks!
Amazing to witness real transformation of a nation and sport!!!
Go Bokke!!!
Take heart...many South Africans love the AB...and support them...there is no better team to play than the All Blacks...we measure ourselves against them...thank you for a great video...South Africans please support and subscribe.
As a South African love this video. We still have a long way to go to even the scores with you guys and I hope we get there soon
Thank you. Us All Blacks fans are nervously looking over our shoulders to be honest
@@BlackRugbydoubtful.
we are ahead 4-3 All blacks will take minimum 4 years to even teh scores.
@@SteveWarlee 'Bush folk'?
Great video. Thank you from a bok supporter. May the rivalry never die.
Brilliant video! Us Saffers love a rational, calm viewpoint, believe it or not. Followed.
Thank you. Trying to keep my bias under control to produce some content for us to all enjoy
I am from South Africa and I have just subscribed to your channel, thank you for this video, we, here in South Africa huge respect for you guys
Thank you. Appreciate the kind words and for you subscribing
What a brilliant video - The RESPECT that the Springboks and ALL Blacks have for each other will always live on.
They build up awesome COMPETITIVENESS that makes RUGBY great to watch.
Your narration at 6:58 gave me goosebumps. What a beautiful Video.
Shout out from 🇿🇦
Appreciate you taking time to watch and comment
As a South African. I have a lot of respect for the All Blacks! You guys play really well, and it truly is the clash of the titans when we face you guys!
The best rivalry in rugby
Already one of the best coaches of all time in my books
Absolutely love this video - From a Fijian 😊 really hit the nail on the head with 10:05 ...The NZ franchises should stop using the Aus teams as a yard stick for success ; they're on their own "healing journey" ...Thanks so much for this!
Thanks mate. Yea they haven't improved much. Playing Drua in Fiji seems to be a lot harder than playing the Aus teams
Springbok fan here, GREAT VIDEO! Every time we play against the AB's I know it's a 50/50 game, gut wrenching stuff till the last 80th min. There will always be that respect that shows true sportsmanship and love of the game.
It's awesome watching the players belt each other then hang out after the games
SA fan here, solid video, I like the breakdown of where and how it started. Subsribed
Thanks mate. Another amazing turnaround from the Boks, right?
@@BlackRugby definitely!
Just found a free version on Supersport's RUclips channel. Will be watching it thanks mate
Rassie is our leader coach The World Champions 🏆...three times World Champions 🏆...no boasting just extremely proud ...Hope is given by never quitting and reward comes ...Winning ...Rassie is top class rugby level 👏

Love the commitment to the braai😂 small improvements to the audio mixing and this will be super high quality
Coming from a SA. thank you for not being a sore loser. NZ needs to come bk the game needs NZ. All SA really has is Rugby. NZ is a beautiful Country
4:07 - reduce the sound from video
Yea a lot of audio errors in this one sorry
Great video, and greetings from South Africa.
Thanks bro!
Boks and ABs will always need each other so we can both continue to help each other stay at the top of the world
Great video - I so enjoyed it. Thank you. Another key feature of Rassie's plan was to develop and blood new talent - and this is on-going. He has enough players ready, in every position to field 3 world class teams! Supreme passionate tactician.
Love the depth of South African rugby. Everyone can see it
Thank you for your video. All Blacks are a amazing team and the team to beat if you want bragging rights. But yes Rassie is taking rugby and understanding rugby to a whole new level of thinking out of the box. Appreciate the honesty and respect. From a Bok supporter from South Africa.
gotta acknowledge greatness
I think RASSIE played a massive role in installing a mentality shift to be more aggressive in the carry and in the tackle in our forwards - getting everyone on the same page with our forwards with an emphasis on our physicality.
We’ve always had big forwards but the DNA was lost a bit until RASSIE came along.
Physicality also includes the fitness levels of the big men and then add a level of importance in representing your country
Great video mate
Thank you. Was listening to a Tamaiti Williams podcast interview and he said the hard thing about prepping for the Springbok forwards running game was that the ABs all knew they weren't gonna pass or step at the line. But once they get a roll on it's super hard to stop
SA fan here and I really enjoyed watching this! It was well made!
It's not a crisis for NZ, rather another way to learn to counter the boks!
100% Too much talent in coaching and players for this to carry on much longer
Our Rassie Brand Is the best 👌 thing that has happened to Rugby 🏉 Our Springboks are The Best in the World ...Rassie Brand Magic Bomb Squad...rotation of 53 players making Team work a reality not just a plan then striving for perfection every game Win draw or lose Rassie Brand just keeps looking at how to make all players individually as a team to give more with only winning in mind ...I trust Rassie Brand Magic will never change reason being he is the real 💯 deal ... South Africans let's give our Rassie Brand his coaching team which by the way are Top Class all the Support and Following he deserves it earned his respect we show him ...Our Springboks are unbelievably talented and just keep striving for perfection and betterment that is so so special...
God bless our Bokke..

Lekker my boet
haha thank you Sir! I think Razor's too clever to lose 2 in a row again but gotta win the knockout RWC games the Boks excel at
SA were the Cinderella men of World Rugby in 2019, following their annus horribilis in 2017 whete they dropped results against Argentina and Italy.
❤😂🇿🇦❤Here in South Africa we respects the All Blacks
A lot of love for the Springboks and South Africa from us too
"...and no a Bomb Squad isn't a new break dancing crew or energy drink" 😅
Ha ha lolz
Thank you. Was hoping some one would notice haha
So I credit Rassie for making a logical move but mainly for having the balls to pull it off
Hmmm... I thought it was from needing to play the black fellas first.
So it was like foreign based clubs in effect, subsidizing SARU, as they pay top salaries outside SA keeping SA player employed and then Rassie can just track their progress with allignment camps etc. Great move. Unemotional decision about what can work and just do it.
Having the balls to pull it off is what I admire the most
The Boks seem to know their roles so well. Great culture in the team to put it all together so successfully
Thank you. Bit of the humour was to cheer myself up talking about all these recent losses
I'm a SA nut but with Razor you have a new era coming. He is as inovative as Rassie and I'm looking forward to the new encounters (ignoring the current rugby chanpionship). The AB's are going to get better and more competitive. It's a matter of time.
Cannot wait for next years series!
Just a minor correction, Africa has lots of countries. South Africa is a country.
😂😂😂😂. Republic of South Africa 😂😂
Thank you Sir. Will do better next time
😂😂😂😂 the rest of the world will never get that
Appreciate the kind words.
When Neill Armstrong took his first step on the moon he saw Rassie sitting on a rock drinking his klippies and coke.
Love your videos!
Sorry, there was no moon landing...

Your channel is going to have a great Bok following. No one likes to talk rugby like a Saffa
Well done from a bok supporter! Of course you guys will be back! You owe it to that black jersey! All the best!
Good Video but you need to fix your sound mate.. The match noises drown out your voice
100%! missed that in the rush to get the video out to capture the momentum of the series win to the Boks
@@BlackRugby I strongly recommend you re-edit this video, very well done. Worthwhile going back and giving it a second go, it would get way more hits.

It's unwatchable. @@BlackRugby

The best of the best!!! It's a great time to be South African.🤜🤛😁
Saffa here loved it!
Thank you Sir!
We know you guys will be great again. Good luck.
New Zealand were too arrogant when they allowed South Africa to leave super rugby. They should have begged them to stay. Iron sharpens iron
The SA teams were away 4 weeks every year, NZ 3. Playing in cold, half empty NZ stadiums. You guys seemed to be doing us a favour by staying so long
@@BlackRugby we are a people that pride ourselves on the bonds we build...so to see NZ and Aus pushing us out and telling us to suck it up...really hurt. In fact it nearly bankrupted SA Rugby, we literally had the private sector (Supersport/Multichoice) bail out the boks and local franchises (Stormers/Wp was put under administration had to sell Newlands Rugby stadium)
Europe gave us a lifeline...it was not a popular decision as most fans didn't support the move...infact our franchises only officially start making money in 2026.
(Since 2009)
You mentioned the achievements, and then went into sycophantic mode! Why?
Own up!
South Africa is on equal footing as New Zealand!
Why not??
Appreciate it mate. Can't wait for the series next year!
"Shocked the world" This is no shock to us as South Africans. This is how we do it bro😂
Haha we're coming back harder next year bro
Rugby is the ultimate, you are 100% correct.

As a Bok supported thanks for the upload and as all real Bok supporters have the utmost respect for the All Blacks.
For once fair commentary. Loved the biltong and braai angle, thank you.
Always the best of respect for the Kiwis! The best and most loved of our opponents...
Our Springbok boys are a special breed and they play with heart, but the AB's have an incredible, deep-rooted foundation from which they build their teams. They can never be written off.
Likewise with the Boks. Can never be written off
Well said, "enjoy it while it lasts".
As a South african I enjoyed this video ❤
Jealous down this Rassie is a genius indeed let's be honest !, this guy is getting wisdom from another dimension de dimension of His God Almighty period....I'm speechless
Is Rassie a religious man? Genuine question
Rugby gives us hope and the Springboks are our hope merchants.
It's more than a game
This is the best video expressing the true emotion of rugby
I believe they both took over their Springbok sides a year before winning the World Cup?
As a Saffer, I’ve been trying to forget those games, but we remember and it’s good for us… Being HUMBLE vs arrogant is the new recipe
Now that was a really great video! Thoughtful selection, level headed commentary with tongue in cheek humour. I have subscribed. I hope to see more of this on many different rugby teams. Thank you from South Africa.
Thank you. Appreciate the kind words, comment and subscription
That's cool to hear. I think Tana Umaga had a similar effect on the All Blacks; not as impactful on the entire country like you say with Kolisi though
mmm gotta love the saltiness of the whole conversation, but, you gotta respect the man, cant deny his worth. He is the Michael Schumacher of rugby at the moment. It will not last forever, and South African fans should soaking it up as long as it lasts.
Salty as! Yea for sure. We'll be back!
Springboks till I breathe no more.... love your video❤.. we've been down there where ya'll are now, there is No Greater Challenge than a Southern Hemisphere Challenge
I always love a game between NZ and SA.Very special.
As a Springbok fan I love the fact that the Springboks have played in fewer Rugby World Cups than England, New Zealand and Australia yet the Springboks have won the Rugby World Cup more times than anyone else.
What a blow ass keep it up cause that arrogance will get you a few losses and then what will you be saying then.
Smart 🙌🏽
Thank you Sir. Honoured you noticed those analogies and commented
amazing to witness this rivalry and this video is magnificent. Thanks.
Appreciate the kind words mate. Blessed to see this great rivalry year in year out
As a South African, the All Blacks are the ultimate test we wait for patiently.
Very good review. It is good for world rugby that both the Boks and the AB's are on top of their game. A bit of rebuilding by the AB's required but they will be back. I am looking forward to the reciprocal biannual tours where the visiting team will be able to share the home team's home experience. Cant wait!
The 2026 tour will be incredible. Hope I can make it and experience beautiful South Africa
Imagine if SA and NZ had all the money!
Good show, thank you from South Africa
Great video, well researched and analysed. One thing you didn't mention was that the Springboks have the utmost respect for the All Blacks and will forever measure themselves against NZ. 2 great rugby nations, each with their own strengths and with a H2H history that outweighs any other.
Great content! Can't wait to see more on other teams🇿🇦
Thank you! Definitely more coming
