Yeah its a bit too bright but hopefully the Game options let us easily correct that. A brightness and Contrast Slider is all we would need 😎

I'm sure we will get a follow up trailer and there is a good chance they will see this video, since it is getting a lot of attention. they will be reading so many people comment on the brightness, hopefully they will make a point with the next reveal to give everyone peace of mind 🙃

I think everything looks great, just needs to be darker and I'm sure the graphics options will let us control that. A brightness and contrast slider is all we need 🙃 It was never about realism in terms of it's visual design, that is correct. It rocked the dark edgy look sure but the nothing was aiming for realistic. Hence all the pretty glowing effects everywhere 🙂

I absolutely believe the success of this bundle will directly lead into more Games in the series. It's too risky these days to just revive an old franchise and have AAA productions. It's a different story if as you say, the waters are tested first and this is a good way to go about it 👀🎩

Yeah I enjoyed doing the Soul Reaver version of this video. they are doing a lot and I also just found out "the thing" from the PS2 is getting a Remaster which brings the visuals to PS3 quality! All this good news is suddenly coming 😃

I would have loved to see Defiance! That said, it played very differently to the first 2 games and I imagine would have needed a lot of work to include. Budget clearly was enough to cover just the first 2 Games but it sounds like they are packing a lot in for us! If this is a success, I'm fairly confidence we will also see Defiance make a return and even the Blood Born Series as well 😎

Its true it's not the AAA experience we all hoped and dreamed for but I think it will be a wonderful experience still 🙂 Also who knows? If it's successful maybe that wish will still come true. need to convince those investors

Slightly better not way better. I have both copies and DC looks a lot better with the HD mod but you didn't have that back in the day.

It's an awesome flex that Dreamcast owners had! I only a couple years ago learned that version looked better than the PS1 ^__^

yeah, the covered TOMBI Limited Run Games, I can imagine them doing this as well Oh that's pretty awesome!! I can't remember which Game I bought first but the Nintendo Wii was my first with my own money and pre order ^__^

Yeah the offerings are great and I don't feel ripped off here (a rare feeling in 2024). I hope this is just t he start of a massive return of the series as a whole. I would like to see a AAA visually stunning new entry into the series some day and also a return for the Blood Omen Games. I think those getting this same Remaster treatment would be a good way to test the market 🙃

I would have preferred a visually stunning Soul reaver Game but this is the smartest way to test the market, scope out interest and based on the success of this - hopefully convince share holders that it is worth the investment

While I do agree that the brightness and contract needs adjustment, both things I'm sure we will have full control of in the options menu, I do feel everything else has been a great effort. The character models look a lot better and is easily more than simply improved textures. The environments currently do feel a bit flat though

@@GamingMyWholeLife I hope so, but it's difficult to make up for bad lighting choices with brightness/contrast adjustments but maybe that's all it needs. It reminds me of what was done with the Halo CE Anniversary remake, in some ways it was good but it was incoherent and detracting from the original atmosphere making it worse overall imo. We'll see, I'll definitely keep my eye on it, the originals are easily amongst my top 10 best single player games ever made so I hope they don't mess this up, or at least that it's fixable by modders.

I honestly get the feeling this is them putting their best foot forward and trying to bring the most complete experience possible. It also offers a lot more compared to both TOMBI and CROC, so it could have easily been a smaller effort and even sold us the Games one at a time 🙃 Yep, they confirmed on the website the lost levels will be here PLUS there are some other surprises they want us to discover on launch day, which they are not revealing. That's exciting! It's nice not to know absolutely everything 😃

I wish it were true! I did hear after uploading this video that Tango was bought out but apparently there efforts are going straight to more hi fi rush... I'm not sure the remaining team, without Shinji Mikami even want to continue with the series ☹ I hope I'm wrong! I obviously LOVE this series

While I am clearly pumped for this and have accepted their choice, I wanted the AAA experience and to be blown away 😍 I understand they need to be more careful these days with AAA Games and likely was too an uphill battle to convince investors to fund. But hey, if this is successful we could see a rebirth of the series as a whole. Legacy Of Kain madness grips everyone and we can't get enough! If the Remaster is successful, I'm sure they will consider what additional options they have 😃

Anything is possible these days!! Loving the return of these retro 3D Games. Been saying for DECADES they still hold up and should still be current, house hold names. Everyone knows Resident Evil for example but not everyone knows the countless classics from the PS1 Era and that feels wrong, lol.

The impression I'm getting is that they are trying to make this the ultimate version of both Games. The fact the lost levels are included and also the day / night cycle as a legacy feature ~ shows they are actively going through everything and putting as much as possible in this 😃

I'm a graphics Perv and this will just make my job so much easier Hahaha I love appreciating Artistic direction and change. So I can look at literally everything in this game and toggle and see what they did or did not do!

Defiance is a fantastic Game but also plays very differently to the first 2 games. I don't think it was within the budget to also work that in, even if it would have been nice. I think it this Bundle is a success, we can expect a wave 🌊 of other Games coming 😎

100% All this could easily lead to the series official continuing. Think of the Crash Trilogy that started all this. It was so successful we got Crash 4 😃

it is a bit too exposed, I actually agree with that. That said, all Games comes with a Brightness slider and if they have a couple more options, like contract and exposure - we can get this to look exactly how we want it 😃

You can of course just ignore it yourself, since it's on a separate screen 🙂 Since Defiance plays very differently from the first 2 Games, something tells me it was not within this budget and scope. I do hope to see it at some point though, as the action was excellent and heavily inspired by the Devil May Cry Series
