I think that along with a strong line up of first and third party games at launch, 60fps backwards compatibility for their first party games will be the deciding factor for many people. I will certainly buy it if it means all of the zelda, pokemon and mario games i already own run at 60fps. Tbh the switch 2 can be hardware updates from the current switch.
A more powerful Switch is what most people want. I would prefer an old school system with as much power as possible but I know that won't happen, lol. I'm happy to settle for a bit less power if it means more people are happy and more importantly, means the system is a success 😀 Playing PS4 Games on my PS5 is a treat! The Nintendo Switch has become my favourite console of all-time, and we are ending its lifestyle on a great note, we have many new great games to look forward to this year and the next. I can't wait for the next Nintendo console, with the amazing games we've had this generation, imagine we will we have for the next generation? I can't wait for the new Monolith Soft game, the new big Super Mario 3D game and Luigi's Mansion 4. It will be incredible.

5:17 except It won't, people keep forget about nintendo saying that Mario Kart 8 would have been the last Mario Kart game 7:02 ...or they can instead keep on adding the bilion games left to be added to the already present NSO consoles alone
I don't fully agree when you say it just needs to be more powerful, I think ut needs to have a fully new interface with new features because the switch is an empty shell compared to all the 3DS & Wii U features like Miiverse, Wii U Chat, AR Cards, web browser, and much more.
