Hello Smexy Fellow Gamers!! Highly recommend the first GreedFall Game for those who are curious and God Bless. Oh and are you excited for the Yooka Laylee Remaster? Link below if you want to hear my thoughts ^__^ Yooka-Replaylee Trailer Breakdown!! ruclips.net/video/ITJw8yEJt0g/видео.html
'Turn-based' and 'Real-time with pause' are two different combat systems, Dragon Age: Origins is the latter. Check out Baldur's Gate 3, that is a turn-based game!
I should clarify that it is the Dragon Age Origins type of combat and not traditional turn based combat, thats why I refer to that Game specifically Still means the world can be frozen, moves chosen for each party member and watch it all play out 🥳
DA origins uses a RTwP combat system with the addition of a FF12 gambit system. Imo the tactical combat camera alone makes origins the best out of all dragonage games. Inquistion tried implenting something similar but the camera would get stuck on terrain features ffs.
Pretty much!! It's sad to see yet another franchise likely go down like this. Plus, just wanting to draw some attention to a Game many likely did not even have on their rader 🙂
Sounds like didn't actually play origins, and just want to hop on the hate train for views. Listen, im glad people are talking about greedfall 2. It deserves to be talked about. The first game was good. But it's a wild take to just randomly drop dragon age hate in the beginning of the video for little to no reason. Also, it's not turn based it's pause combat. Could at least attempt to get that right.
Maybe watch the video and listen to what is actually said, instead of trying to act smart? You look very foolish here. I specifically talk about Dragon Age origins and how you pause the Game, select everyone's actions and un-pause to see it all play out 👍🏼
Nah failguard looks extremely garbage and goofy 😂 fortnite age will flop thankfully regardless of anyone defending It. We need a change in the gaming world and that outdated dei fest of a game failing is yet another step on the stairs to more quality games dropping
I should clarify that it is the Dragon Age Origins type of combat and not traditional turn based combat, like the original Final Fantasy Games for example. Still means the world can be frozen, moves chosen for each party member and watch it all play out 🥳
@@GamingMyWholeLife RTwP -> Real Time with Pause it's how this sytem is called just in case you didn't know. BioWare popularized it in 1998 with Baldur's Gate way before DA:O xD
Yeah I think I'll try get in the habit of describing it as so 🙂 I like that it can be treated as turn based, even if it's not ^__^ That Game came out on soo many CD's, lol. Felt so epic at the time
Still means the world can be frozen, moves chosen for each party member and watch it all play out 🥳 But yeah, not a traditional turn based Game. Thats why Dragon Age Origins was the example 🙂
@@GamingMyWholeLife Greedfall is in my wishlist... unfortunately I don't have much time to play videogames... I'm actually thinking of buying Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 since the 2nd game is coming out this year and looks like a single player chivalry!! ( Ihave never heard of this game before)
Ooo KCD2 is something I'm actually very excited about 😃 I really enjoyed the first Game but the combat is rather strict in favour of realism. Thankfully, that's an area the devs have already confirmed they will make more user friendly in the next instalment.
I think people forget that Baldurs Gate 3 made turn based combat "manageable" for normal people and was ultimately a gimmick to reflect DnDs nature. This isnt the 90s we dont need turn based combat systems 😅 My wife and I are really excited for VeilGuard
Lolo this isn't the 90's 🤣 I'm sorry but that's such a silly thing to say. Especially when the actual video discusses the fact Greedfall is an action RPG Game but has the ability to pause the action and be strategic for those who want it. I hope you both enjoy the Game 👍🏼
Seems like a game for wives. I think you’re forgetting the quality, artstyle, and tone that bg3 has ….compared to that cringe dialogue and enemy design in dwagon age faiwlguard
I enjoy turn based games but that was never Dragon Age. The series has been slowly removing elements of tactical gameplay since the release of DA2, so if you’ve played any DA since 2009 this change in combat style wouldn’t really surprise you. I do think the change is too drastic, and I would have preferred having the option of using a tactical camera like in DAI. But in the end I won’t say I dislike it before trying it. It just seems absurd to me to be comparing two games that not only have you not played, but that are not even released yet.
I should clarify that it is the Dragon Age Origins type of combat and not traditional turn based combat, like the original Final Fantasy Games for example. Still means the world can be frozen, moves chosen for each party member and watch it all play out 🥳 A Hypothesis can still be applied here. GreedFall 2 is of course not out yet but having played the first and having access to Gameplay shows us exactly what we can expect. Same tactic actually still works for this Dragon Age Game because your right, having played all of the DA Games I am aware they have been slowly removing tactical combat. Watching this generous amount of Gameplay where the level 1 Rogue is just going sick, safe to assume they are taking the action focus to even greater heights.
Not gonna lie man, Origins combat sucked for me lol, I loved it for everything else but actual combat was not it. This looks like it can play like an action RPG but adding tactical combat to the mix which sounds like an awesome combination.
Yep, action RPG but the ability to pause and review your next move 😃 That's really interesting. I know Dragon Age Origins was challenging (one of the things I really enjoyed) but I never had any trouble with the combat. Did you play on console and maybe the controls were different? Anyway, Greedfall 2 is def worth keeping an eye out for and you have first Greedfall Game if u want to know what ur in for. Major difference is you control only 1 party member in the first Game (u have companions but you don't control them during combat). The ability to pause and select ur next move is all in tact 👍🏼
I don't think you know what turn based combat is or what it looks like king. You're not a dialogue fan... damn. You really played origins for the combat huh lmao
Of course I know 😛 even if the Gameplay did not show it, lol. I'm aware its not traditional turn based combat if that is what ur referring to I did think the story of DA was good but it was the gameplay that really drew me in 🙂
@@Sierraone1 5th most popular mod is skipping content lmao. Others before it are mostly cosmetic makeovers. One of them is adding the dog without taking up a companion slot.
Oooh this is awesome! I never finished Greedfall because the combat was great in concept, but I found it really janky when the companions would go off script and get stuck/pull mobs/generally get in the way. Will have to watch out for this one!
Looks like we will have complete control over everyone this time 😃 Nice to see the team feeling braver and more ambitious this time round. Hopefully more people gove this entry a chance 🙂
Greedfall was a very good game compared to the budget that they had. Unfortunately you really notice that they hadn't that much budget, but otherwise the game is good enough to like it nevertheless. Dragon Age 3 had a very similar fighting system as Dragon Age Origins, because you could always enter in the tactical mode, so I don't know what's exactly the reason to highlight that for only one game. Greedfall basically had everything that a good Bioware game like Mass Effect or Dragon Age had, but a little bit less of it. That's why Greedfall 2 is on my list, but Dragon Age 4 isn't dead for me, because of its combat system. I think I have a place for both games in my heart as long as it is a decent rpg experience. :)
Inquisition tactical combat was not like Origins. It was not even half assed. Bad AI and you couldn't go in depth and put actual tactics in a menu per character.
Dragon Age Origins had the slowest pacing and highest strategic game style, which is why that served as my example. DA2 and eventually DA3 easily took things in a more action focused direction. Also, good for you. Seriously! Me not liking a Game does not mean I judge those who do like it 👍🏼
Greedfall had an interesting setting but it was insanely clanky, I wasn't able to enjoy it. Like, I'll be glad if the next game is better, but it is in no way a replacement to Dragon Age
Firstly, thanks for watching 🙂 Its a shame u were not able to get in a groove with the first Game. It took me a while to get used to it but once I did, totally fell in Love with GreedFall. I'm not saying I want Greedfall to replace the Dragon Age IP, but the latest entry looks like it won't be any good and strategy fans, will likely have a much better time with GreedFall 2
@@GamingMyWholeLife perhaps! The writing was pretty good so if they make up technically the second game could be very fun, the spirit is definitely there
Yep, real time combat but with the ability to pause at any moment, control all party members and choose what everyone is going to do next 😍 I know I'm reacting fast with DA4 but I feel it's pretty easy to tell which direction the series is going with, even with what has been revealed at this stage already.
Nothing I have seen from the New Dragon Age Game looks appealing at all. GreedFall is such a smaller franchise as well, so thought I would do my part to spread awareness 🙂
Greedfall 1 was fun it was little junky but if they fix combat for second one it would be perfect, they pick Dragon Age Origin that is even more junky even in 2009 when it come out, so far biggest con for Greedfall 2 is this outdated combat they pick.
For a new IP I think it was a great first step and I'm sure there will be many small improvements for this 2nd Game 😃 I didn't find DAO junky at all. Maybe this Game is not for you?
Glad you enjoyed it!! I get really distracted myself as well so I totally understand. I've banned myself currently from buying or installing any more Games until I finish at least one of those I am already playing hahaha
The reaction was really surprising. Whole Video is about Greedfall 2 and instead all these Dragon Age special people came hahaha. Some are even saying it makes no sense to play a Dragon Age Game for it's Gameplay? Some have lopst the plot if we officially do not care about Gameplay in a Game, lol. Yeah I will, thanks for the heads up!
I don't know reviews told you about the first Game but it was not woke. In fact, woke reviewers were upset with the Game because you could decide for yourself who u wanted to support
I explain how in the video, lol. Both let you pause real time combat, select your chosen move and its carried out. Greedfall 2 takes this further by letting you select your entire parties moves. Latest Dragon Age doesn't even let you control your companions
