You mentioned Tomba 2... during the reveal of this version the dev confirmed they are working on the remaster of Tomba 2. BTW Tomba 2 is one of my favorite games of all time and I have come close to 100% the game twice throughout my life. When the remaster comes out the time will be ripe to 100% complete and finally come full circle. Cheers.

Almost every media ever has some form of political messaging in one way or another. It's just a inherent aspect of human created art. Some people just do it a lot worse and more blatantly than others.
Thats true and anyone who wants to make a new Game around their Political Beliefs - power to them. My push back is the insertion of current social day politics, into pre existing franchises that did not have that stuff before. So using a loved IP as a Boat to carry the messaging, always at the expense of quality - which results in poor sales and even companies shutting down as a result.
That sounds really annoying. I wonder what is so different with the PS5 version? There was a filter setting that I played around with on PC in the Game that made things clearer. It was one of the trigger buttons, R1 or R2.
I've reached out to Limit Run Games and I'll comment again once I hear back from them :) I know they are silent on the PS4 Version but they have not cancelled it either. Fingers crossed!
It depends on what you call been "political", as for example, if some game has gay characters, some people will consider it already been "political". So ignoring them is "political" as well. Actually most of the time what I have seen someone complaining about being "political" is when they set gay, black, or even women characters in their games. So to me this "games shouldn't political" is absurd, as you are trying to ignore these groups exists. If there's another reason for that, I don't know yet.

Having gay people in games definitely does because it pushes the radical agenda that I am absolutely sick of hearing about. I don't play games for me to have these issues I avoid like the plague in it. Being gay is a sin, I don't care if your parents taught you otherwise. Just like I don't play games with heterosexual explicit sex, excessive profanity, and excessive gore and killing, I don't want to play any game that rams sin down my throat.

This was one of the very first games I ever owned as a kid, I played hundreds of hours on it. unfortunately it was stolen right as I was reaching the end of it, so I never got to finish it. I have tried for years to replace it, but all copies are not only rare but super expensive. so the fact that it just got this new release is like a long lost childhood memory returned! I didn't know it came out either but youtube suggested your video and I ran for it! thanks so much!

On STEAM is has the name Tomba but I will always see it as Tombi. More countries had it under than name, so technically thats the name most of the world knows 😎 Such a cool Game 😃
As charming as the graphics were back then for this game, a little polish, texture resolution, background upgrades should have been implemented in my opinion.
I would have also appreciated a bit more effort into this Game. Thankfully it's still fun and the ability to save anywhere + rewind are at least welcome additions.
Should be just as nice since this is a PS1 Game. Have you played around with the Filter settings? They do exist and hopefully one of those makes it look better for you

I'm completely disappointed, it's just a modern menu storefront with updated publishing rights, the main game is exactly the same as the original PS1, am i supposed to see anything different here?
As I mentioned, the ability to save anytime was added. A rewind feature to save yourself when needed, soke filter options and behind the scenes gallery
@@GamingMyWholeLife Bug is technically a 3D platformer because you can actively move forward and back, though a lot of it is side scrolling as well. But you move on a fixed axis. The developers officially called it a "Quadscroller" for lack of anything else. Bug actually got a lot of attention when it first came out, but Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot quickly stole its thunder. If you do play it, I recommend using the Japanese version, as it's MUCH more generous with lives, hit points and checkpoints. It also doesn't the BS mechanic of deleting your save file after you use up all your Continues. Make no mistake, Bug is a good game, but it shows it's age and it can get downright NASTY in its difficulty (such as the infamous Reptilia boss fight and the part where you have to make a chain of flawless jumps over a bunch of bubbles above a bottomless pit).

Got it on ps5 and my graphics do not look like this at all. They look no different than playing on ps1.
My Gameplay footage looks different to yours? There are some screen filter settings in this Game, maybe play around with it?

Apart from updated music and some filter options + the ability to save anywhere and remind time - everything else is a standard port
