How do you winterize plants when grown this method? Do you remove from gutters? Or just cover with straw? Or propagate the runners and save for next year start from new? Thanks!

I found my way to your page after listening to your interview on the Epic Gardener podcast (I know, I know, I'm late to the game). Thank you so much for sharing this, I am excited to build my own and give it a try! Can I ask why you secure the gutter supports under, rather than over, the frame pieces?

For indoor hydroponics would a day neutral be best? Would be using individual small buckets, about a liter of water per. And in that situation where the temp of the room is going to be between 60 and 70 F all year will they continue bearing fruit in intervals all year round?

Synthetic "pyrethrins" are both less toxic and more effective. Preventing ants from climbing up those stands should be pretty easy though: sticky barriers like the ones used in orchards.

My basement has an old 100 year old well that doubles as a geothermal heat source. It's filled in, but my temp stays a constant 55°F. So I hung plastic sheets and a small heater. It kept the temp at 60°F, while it was -48°F outside last week. I am in south dakota, usa. It really varies on your conditions.
