I like thin gloves so I can feel what I touch and gloves made out of a material that breathes for comfort. I also like rubber like textured gloves for a better grip. Check in the hardware stores some construction glove designs can sometimes be surprisingly good for gardening!

How do you grow squash vertically? Can you use the gutters?
Squash is best grown in the ground or in large containers and trainer vertically up a trellis, wire or fence. I train mine up my A frame structures.

No you can use the same spacing. Any day neutral strawberry variety will do great in this system
