    Thank you! I found the idea elsewhere but came looking for how to actually get'r done. Now I found your vid. awesome! Also love the S'hooks suggestion. Now to my question. I'm importing tree bark from my local forest. like 500m away and wanted to know of your thoughts on this. The bark comes from trees already harvested and left behind. Just fyi. Thanks!

    Have you hung one of these directly onto a brick wall by hanging it using big nails, screws or something else? If so, what materials and techniques would you recommend for doing this?

    Hi! Thanks for the tutorial. Could you please give some suggestions of veggies that will work in this type of set-up? I understand lettuce and most greens work - but anything else?

      Im glad you enjoyed this first part. Strawberries, herbs, lettuce, radishes, onions, beets and bush beans will all work in such a system

    Can you direct sow strawberry seeds into the compartments or do you need to transplant seedlings?

    • @ThePlantCharmer
      @ThePlantCharmer  3 года назад +3

      You could but strawberry plants need to see 900 hours of cold temps to have the vigour to flower and they take very long to grow from seed. You are much better off finding plants if you want production

    Peat moss is unsustainable. Please try to find a substitute and advise people not to use this finite resource.

      We are switching to coco as soon as we can import container loads. Canada has the largest quantities of peat bogs in the world and although you are right that we should switch to a different medium, large efforts are put into conserving the resources as a tiny % of it is harvested
