Thanks for your amazing comment! You can cut them but its not absolutely needed. Not cutting them allows you to plant deeper and not have to hill the plants as the seed has enough energy to push out of the soil

Thanks man! I grow lunchbox peppers as sweet peppers, regular full size red bells (ace F1) also grow joes long cayenne, red amber and habaneros in gutters
