I used to be a Honda mechanic, good bikes these. Main problem which I used to address is behind the silencer, is a bolt that will seize, I would take out at first service clean up and copper grease. The bolt is only Threaded near head then goes smooth. It locates onto hub to stop it turning when braking. Seem to remember it’s 14mm spanner.

This brings back memories of my teenage years, where I also serviced my bikes. Very easy to do as you said and it was very enjoyable. Serviced and fixed my first few cars too but once they made it really difficult for the weekend home mechanic to work on, then that's when I lost interest in doing them.

That turned out truly excellent with no real plan and odds and sods. You now have your own holodeck, being whatever you want it to be and videos made inside it, with the out of town feel. It should take on a nice wooden odour too, making a joy of a place to unwind.
