A quick and simple solution and it looks good 👍 I like the sound of the quad bike as that's how motorbikes sounded when I was a kid. Fortunately for you, there's no worry about securely storing the logs, unlike here where they would have been taken in your absence. An idea maybe? Some folks there build a rack against the wall inside the house and store the logs there, which keeps them dry and can look quite decorative if stacked well.
Yea it's nice not having to think about people stealing your stuff. Completely different world here! When it get really cold we do sometimes bring some wood in to make life a but easier but to be honest it's not bad. Nice to go out for 5 minutes and collect some 😊
