Brilliant one Ash. Yes sadly you are spot on, people of today are not interested in a bit of real work. Too soft these days. Although there are 1 or 2 about thankfully. Cant beat chopping logs, proper workout. Look forward to seeing this new chainsaw when it arrives. Takes some good size bars. Yes Husqvarna are the best by miles but only cost affective for full-time working. Be interesting to see how this one preforms, especially as you can switch parts off Stih. Take Care Bud 👍
Nice and relaxing to watch old school log splitting. Hard work as you say but those days are long for me. The effort and time spent is more fun and cheaper than paying rip off utility companies.
Pull potatoes and just leave on ground for a couple hours for the skins to harden up. I've never "topped" potatoes, I just plant and leave. Once the above earth plant dies off, leave the potatoes in ground for about 2 weeks, Store in a hessian sack in a dark cool place. Hope that helps for next year ❤
@@ash.pollard tell Marie to watch shit tons on RUclips about canning and preserving food. I did it this year (1st time) and my cupboards are full 😂🤣 it's a lot of work but worth it for saving money 👍
I’m loosing interest sad because it’s becoming more about tools machinery and equipment. Don’t get me wrong, I love these things as much as the next girl but I want to know more about your life in Sweden etc.

You got that right! I think if you don't enjoy it then it would be a different story but I don't consider my time splitting as wasted 😊
my Dad always said it heats you three times, cutting the trees down and bringing the logs home, splitting the logs and then lighting the fire.
That's very true!
My apologies Ash for my comment that was removed take care
I didn't see a comment from you Kaz 🤷♂️
