A £30 Inspection Camera... Any Good?

Bit of a random one today for you. I treated myself to an inspection camera which is something I've wanted for many years but never bothered as they were so expensive. I spotted this one for around £30 and thought it was worth a bash.

Bit of fun if nothing else! Most of the attachments are probably crap but the thing itself will be very useful. Especially like the idea of a decent magnet for dropped bits & bobs.

Yea the "tools" are a bit flimsy but I guess what can you expect for that price haha. I agree, think the magnet will come in very useful!

Very handy tool I have a snap on one with seperate screen bought at a boot fair for £15 bargain so handy

I’ve had one for a few years, and I’m surprised how many times a year it gets used. Looking down the bore, via the spark plug hole. Down drains, up my wood burner flue to make sure I swept it properly.

I guess it's one of those tools that doesn't get used often but when you need it you really need it 😅

I've been looking for one of these to look inside a very sick sounding motorbike engine, and to see what the rats got up to above the kitchen ceiling (well, it seems a shame not to - the holes I drilled in it are still there after the last time I had to let the water out 😁).
I'd only seen the ones you link to your phone for a good price, and like you I didn't want to do that. I think the key was searching "inspection camera" instead of endoscope. I now see the light. Or rather I see the cheap Chinese inspection cameras. Ta 👍
