Quick question. If I were to install bazzite OS and later want to revert back to windows. Would this revert my ally back to windows? Or would I need to make a windows boot drive and install it back that way

ever since i downloaded this new driver that has the afmf 2 my device is acting hella worse like crashing some games dont even work other games crash amd stuttering amd tearing like crazy is there a way to go back to the official lenovo ones ?

I suppose 2 fps for an extra 5 watts, huh? The ROG Ally at a custom 30W hovers around 80 degrees. So maybe I'll keep it plugged in.

I play all my games in 900p + RIS on rog ally ^^ one of the most incredible is assassin's creed odyssey, near ultra, more than 35 fps :)

So basically if you choose to play games mostly at 720p and an 18-20W TDP, you're likely to get a super smooth 60 fps experience in most games on the ROG Ally X, is that correct? Plus, the Ally X has a native landscape 120Hz screen, which means there will be less compatibility issues with older games due to the screen orientation and resolution compared to the Steam Deck's native portrait screen. Any idea why armory crate resets my fps limiter once I leave a game? Or even after a restart? All other settings stay except the fps limiter gets disabled once I leave the game and try to come back.

The worst part about Rog Ally, is that everyone call the Rog Ally Extreme.. just Rog Ally also.. so looking at benchmarks, you have no idea what model they test.

Somes games do not work with this like Star Wars Outlaws it runs worst, tried also Crew Motorfest it doesn't even turn on. Does the low base framerate needs to be above a certain number. I might have to lower the resolution of the screen to 900p.

So im trying to figure out if i have hardware issues or software but mine is my left stick ill be moving in a game and it will moving in game but after a few it will stop while im pressing and i have to stop pressing forward and repress it forward to get going forward again

I'd get the Steam Deck LCD for much lower price, if the higher refresh rate really matters all that much you can just build a PC for the same money that will beat all the 3 consoles, but if you want a handheld that's just pick up and play the base LCD cheaper Steam Deck is the best option, the 90Hz screen is not much use when the APU is still the same instead of a more powerful one

So that's mean gaming on ally with 1080p is a wasted of fps. Almost no different with 900p at all. 😅

When i am using gyro as the right stick, the right stick movement is crazy. Things like moving the joystick slighlty to the right does nothing or moves over very laggy. Sometimes not always but very often ill push the stick to the left or right and it will go diagonly up or down to the left or right. Then i turn gyro off or go to game pad and it smooth amd normal. Wtf
