Tudor Black Bay 54 and Christopher Ward Trident Pro 300 Comparison

Hi and welcome to my channel. In this video I’m comparing the new Tudor Black Bay 54 with the Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 38mm. I own both of these watches and thought it would be cool to look at them side by side. I also show them on different straps (towards the end of the video) and I even demonstrate the differences in how easy/hard it is to remove the bracelets. I’m very close to ...

Thought i'd upload a little song i wrote about 30 years ago! Never actually tried to do anything with it and still wonder if this would be a good song to give to a country artist. If anyone has any contacts please get in touch :)

Great! Just hope black dial on size 35
this lady sure has one hell of a masculine hand
Class
I am 13 yo and I have a 18 cm wrist
Good stuff 👍
They should've ditched the idea of Mercedes Hands- too much Rolexy like- unoriginal. At this price, you can buy a Replica. The only big difference, the Warranty, but at least then you are fully invested in something looking like a Rolex, that just keeps time.
Yeah I concur I think 👍
Black nato best
Still does not look expensive
It’s not expensive 😀
I got one of these on Monday and to be honest I’m not that impressed with it, It looks amazing but the sharp edges and light weight makes it feel less premium than I’d like for a watch at this price point. I do not think the finish is up to par compared to other Tudor watches like the black bay 58. It’s how it feels on the wrist I do not like specifically as compared to my Rolex submariner it feels cheap and scratchy whilst it rattles on the wrist unless worn over tight. Maybe titanium is not for me but overall a disappointment.
This one is good but the Tiffany blue one ❤
🙏
Qué hermoso reloj tiene todo lo que necesitamos los varones 👍👍👌🏼👌🏼
Wrong music
No music is “wrong” 😀👍
It’s giving vachron overseas
Ever since I saw it I have been captivated by the dial. I just love it. Will definitely own one some day.
Any chance of knowing what strap that is on your seiko please ? Thanks it’s really beautiful
Yes no problem…amzn.eu/d/0iZybsO7
@@Time_and_time_again thank you!
Great
I’m getting John Denver vibes from your music. Thanks for sharing! You have a very soothing voice.
Thank you 🙏 I’ve definitely been influenced by John Denver 👌
That's the most neat tattoo 😂😂😂
Wow, god bless you 🙏👍
I have small wrist too and i was thinking if i should buy wrist watch. I will get my card rn lol
Brilliant this mate. Well done 👏 Keep creating 👌
What happened to your text tattoos, just curious as I’ve got similar ones and wondering if they’ll age like that.
Think it’s just what happens over time and the font was definitely too thick to begin with! I’m planning on getting something over it at some point as it looks dreadful now 🙏👍
Beautiful! You are very talented.
Thank you 🙏
Great to see you back, Alan. Very nice first impressions on a lovely watch!
Thank you kindly! 🙏👍
Damn tht Blue looks good..💙💙💙
Both are nice but I love the Sinn!
I feel the same way 🙏👍
Looks good might get one 😮
Wrist size ?
The black bay 54 is 37mm 👍
@@Time_and_time_again Yes, I mean your wrist size ?
@@DomaDful ahhh, I see, 6inch 👍
@@Time_and_time_again Thank you.
Disappear again sir?!
Sorry, not sure what you mean? 🙏
Wait too long for the in depth review :(
Ahhhh I see! I didn’t keep hold of the watch sorry 👍
May I ask what the reason was for not keeping it?
@@Fontoran I found it a touch too small for my liking in the end. The 39 is too big and the 36 was too small imo 👍
Awesome fit
I had one of these and the bezel was ridiculously stiff and even locked up occasionally.
The bezel looks stunning in this video…
Really good mate 👍🏼
Thanks 👍
I worry about the comments. It's like a meeting in a religious sect, people trying to top each others hysterical praises and superlatives regarding this cheap looking watch😑
I’m not too sure anyone would say this is a “cheap looking watch” but everyone’s opinion is welcome 😀👍
Have you handled this watch? It's better than a Tudor!
I think I prefer the old one. I'm a bit worried about a homage watch. Getting mugged for a homage
I agree! I did wear it around a local town centre one day and was sat outside some shops waiting for the wife when a few guys started hanging around and looking a bit menacing. I had the exact thought that you had! 🙈👍
The first few minutes of this are brilliant and quite interesting watches are very addictive when you throw in the online content you have something that many people have agreed with me upon when I say this is like some sort of addiction 😂
Yep! I’d describe it as very addiction like also 😊 I have to take some time out now and again to help to cool things down 😂👍
I have a 6 inch wrist So what size should I buy
I’d say definitely the 35 then as the 40 will be too big. I do think the 35 is a little small though even on my 6” wrist so a 37 would be ideal but obviously they don’t do one 🙈
@@Time_and_time_again thanks man Appreciate it 👍👍
Thanks for the great video! I have a 6.7 inch wrist circumference. Would you go for the 38mm or the 40mm version? My dial color would be the white version. Greetings from Germany!
Thank you 🙏 it’s a close call but maybe the 40mm would suit slightly better on 6.7! I think the 38 is a better proportioned watch but that’s on my 6” wrist. Thanks
my wrist just too skinny for the watches i want, you sure thats only 35mm, your wrist looke bigger than mine
100% sure it was the 35mm yes 😊👍
Do christopher wards hold value or not ?
I’d say they hold pretty well. Probably 2 thirds of the retail price I’d guess at (depending on models) the pro 300 goes for around 700 on the second hand market from what I can see 👍
Wow, outstanding singing!
Thanks mate 🙏👍
Looks great 👍🏼
Nice mate soulful bravo
Cheers mate 🙏👍
Nice to see you back. Do you think this size or 39mm for a 17CM wrist?
Cheers mate and yes I’d probably recommend the 39 for your wrist 👍
The gentleman is way better and their new pr516 chrono is the best they git
How many mm hours look better for a 17.5cm wrist?
I’d say you would definitely need to look at the 40mm version 👍
@@Time_and_time_again Thanks, so does 42 look big?
@@ardakarnicaoglu953 it all depends on the watch. If you’re thinking of this tissot they only do 35 and 40 but with other watches there’s all sorts of different measurements that come into play like “lug to lug” etc
Can I ask a silly question, how do you video like this with both hands free? Is it a tripod in front of you or an overhead arm, my partner is the manager of a jewellers and they have used luxury watches like Cartier and Rolex and they want to film watches like this to boost quality of the videos on social media.
Not a silly question at all. I think my social links are in my channel info so you could reach out there if you like and I’ll send you pictures of my set up. There’s a couple of ways I’ve done this. The one in this video is just using an iPhone 15 pro, an elgato light (lighting’s important too) and a little iPad stand that tilts forwards and holds my phone right in front of me. I’ve just bought a Sony camera and an overhead arm though for my upcoming videos but the little iPad stand would do the job just fine. Think it was only £15 on Amazon too 👍
@@Time_and_time_again some pictures would be great to see! So all of your watch reviews are filmed on an iPhone? Really good quality, are using anything to enhance the quality when you upload it or just filming at 4k 30fps?
facebook.com/alan.williams.50309 That’s me on Facebook if you want to drop a message but yes everything so far has been using the iPhone at 4k 30fps. I do have a shure sm7b mic which helps with audio and, like I say, a key light is important too 👍
hi, could you measure the l2l distance of the C60 Trident Pro 300 including the End links? I would like to understand how much the endlinks impact the overall top to bottom length of the watch, since in your original review you didn't mention it and i'm having a really hard time finding this measurement online. I have your exact wrist size (5,9 inches or 15cm) so i can relate to your reviews but to be sure i would like to have this measurement. Thanks and best regards
Hi, I’ve just measured and from tip to tip of the male end links it’s 49.4mm. I wouldn’t let that put you off though as it definitely doesn’t feel or look too big on my wrist! I would 100% recommend you try one on and you will be completely happy with the size. Hope this helps. Cheers
@@Time_and_time_again thank you for the super fast answer. That 49,4l2l looks scary on paper however the watch looked good on your wrist, so it's giving me confidence and hope. However i can't stop thinking that it probably would've looked even better if it had female end links. That 45l2l is a super interesting stat, hopefully some companies will make female end link conversion for the bader bracelet. Thank you so much, I will definitely put this watch on the list of future purchases, it gives me Omega Seamaster vibes (the blue version) for 1.300€ which is a phenomenal price.
@@sanji8142 no problem at all! In this instance I feel like the male end links are a positive (even for a small wrist) because without them the watch would be in danger of looking too small! It’s exactly the same reason that the 36mm sealander wears so well on the bracelet and looks too small on a strap! 👍 ps yes the blue trident gives me omega vibes too
Beautiful. This colour will be 3 tissot. Got the dark green 40 Prx 80 the champagne sunburst in 36 quartz. This next
That’ll be a nice collection you have 🙏👍
Neat watch .
I have that same Dune watch and love it. Perfect size for my 6.5 inch wrist. Bought the 36 Sealander GMT and returned it. Too small.
Yes I can imagine it’s perfect for a 6.5” wrist. I also ended up feeling that the 36mm gmt was a little small even on my 6” wrist. The sealander 36 feels perfect though. I’m also getting the 36mm twelve in for a review today so I’ll be interested to see how that wears. Some watches suit the 36mm better than others and the gmt felt small 👍
