This piece has been on my wishlist for time now. Such a beauty! Also the ocean 39 ceramic black.
It's a beautiful watch yes! I also debated whether to get the black one as that also looks great 👍
@@Time_and_time_again I have the Ocean 39 Black ceramic. I'd love to add this Steinhart Batman! Looks great!
Good to see you back. I hope you can find the right balance of time spent on watches. I know it’s not easy!
Thanks keith! Yes I’m sure I will this time 😊👍
amazing video ! this gave me a good insight on the one i just ordered!! i got the gnomon concorde edition!
Thanks and that sounds cool! 🙏👍
Appreciate the review - I subscribed. I seriously love LOVE Steinhart watches. They are amazing quality...and one need not qualify that with "for the price." They are amazing quality PERIOD. Easily could sell for thousands of dollars rather than hundreds.
Thanks and totally agree! The price is definitely a bonus though 😊👍
Completely agree,I said this on another thread two days ago and be happy to repeat it here....I will take a STEINHART over pretty much anything else under £3000 and that includes Tudor, sinn, and Fortis!
Yes, watches and all about them can get time consuming. I’ve learned so much recently, about these amazing time pieces. You look like Peter Frampton, by the way. 👍🏽
Good to see you back mate. Gees 5 months.
Thanks mate 🙏👍
It’s good that you had a break, I completely get it. I’ve always liked having a few watches, but am not a collector. Having watched more and more reviews, whilst I never got to the point of chasing the next best thing, I did start to consider some quite expensive watches which I just don’t need. I still find the conversations about the market interesting, but don’t tend to look at many reviews anymore.
Thanks. Sounds like you have a nice healthy relationship with your watch interest 🙏👍
@@Time_and_time_again thanks for the reply. Don’t get me wrong, it took a little while to realise. I think I saw most bb36 videos before nearly buying about 3 times. Then the Aqua Terra caught my eye. I found a great new price (if you can consider just under £5k great for a watch). But then I stopped and thought, 🤔. Do you find that as you have a watch RUclips channel, you almost feel obliged to keep buying so you can create new content?
i have 6 steinharts, love the quality, excellent watches
Fantastic quality 👍
I have the Ocean 39 Marine Blue those watches are built like a Tank you get a lot of watch for the money. That watch looks perfect on your wrist Enjoy it in good health. :)
Thanks! Yes you certainly get a lot for your money. I had the marine in black at one point but the blue looks fantastic too 👍
Great video! Definitely helped me make the decision to buy this watch!
Thanks mate, enjoy! I’m🙏👍
Went to Gnomon watches yesterday and left the store with this around my wrist. Beautiful piece. The best part is the all brushed bracelet making it a great tool watch. I tried on the pepsi ceramic but found it to be too flashy especially on the jubilee. The batman looks more subtle. Love it.
Nice! Did you get chance to look at the new titanium version? Might have a try of that one next 👍
@@Time_and_time_again You mean the titanium Ocean 39 batman? Yes I did. It was very lightweight because its titanium. But I didn't like the hands and the lack of applied markers. It looked flat. This one just popped more with the applied markers.
@@imranbecks ahhhh yes, makes sense! Thanks
Hi as you’ve tried both would you advice this version or the less homagy ones with differents hand?
Really nice review btw hope you do more! 😊
Thank you mate and yes I’d have to say the less homagy one would be the best choice 🙏👍
Personally I prefer the previous version. It has more of its own identity, and a slightly better specification.
I'd agree 100% 👍
Is possible to buy this watch with the jubilee bracelet? thanks
Yes, as far as I know 👍
Those bezel numerals are great, so much better than the old one.
You mean you prefer the font used on this new one? Thanks
@@Time_and_time_again for sure, man, sorry about my bad english. Hahahaha Greetings from Brasil 🇧🇷
Nice video just bought one and usefully information 👍
I think I prefer the old one. I'm a bit worried about a homage watch. Getting mugged for a homage
I agree! I did wear it around a local town centre one day and was sat outside some shops waiting for the wife when a few guys started hanging around and looking a bit menacing. I had the exact thought that you had! 🙈👍
Wear it in good health! How does the quality and finishing compare to the c60 trident pro? I am in between those two along with the certina ds action 38.
Thanks Brent! It’s really difficult to choose one over the other as they’re both great in different ways but if I had to choose it would be the CW as i feel it’s a bit more unique 👍
Great review mate, it's a beauty. You have a new subscriber by the way!
Thanks mate 🙏👍
The reason the dot between the 18 and 20 is closer to the 20, and why the dot between the 20 and 22 is so tight, is because the bezel is a 24 hour clock. So each dot is exactly half way between the hours located on the dial, since the dial is a 12 hour clock. Look at the Rolex Master GMT II as an example.
Yea thanks! I noticed it was the same in the Rolex too after I’d done this video 🙏👍
Ahh man another beauty! I prefer the older version you showed a pic of though. Interested to hear how you think that compares to the CW Trident Pro 300 40mm? Which would you have given the choice?
Thanks Justin. Yes I also prefer the older version as it isn’t a pure homage. It’s difficult to compare the steinhart and CW really but given the choice I’d probably go with the CW 👍
I had one of these and the bezel was ridiculously stiff and even locked up occasionally.
I like this watch and I have been watching this review thinking about pulling the trigger. I also have a small wrist about the same size as you 15.5 cm and I own a CW diver 600m the 28 mm version.
I have seen your video with a CW, 300 in the 38 mm version, my question is does the GMT from STEINHART wears significantly bigger meaning as lug to lug?
Thanks and keep the up the good videos. 😊
Thanks mate 🙏 I’d say that the 38mm CW wears perfect on our size wrist. The steinhart wears a little bigger but still looks suitable on the liner wrist. Lug to lug does go a little bigger but still doesn’t over hang the span of the wrist. The CW is the perfect size though 👍
@@Time_and_time_again Thank you! Please keep up the videos!😊
is it VALUE for money mate?
It certainly is mate! Although it’s a homage it’s incredible quality for the price 👍
Time! insane content- goodbye!=))
Always time for sarcasm too 😊👍
I wish Steinhart would make a 40mm
Is the ceramic bezel “engraved”?
Sorry for the delay! I no longer have the watch and I honestly can’t remember sorry 😢👍
I have the watch. Yes it's engraved.
@@imranbecks Thanks mate. Are you happy with the quality of this watch? Would you recommend it?
@@Time_and_time_againwhy did you get rid of it?
Hi what is your wrist size
6.25” (16cm) 👍
They should've ditched the idea of Mercedes Hands- too much Rolexy like- unoriginal.
At this price, you can buy a Replica. The only big difference, the Warranty, but at least then you are fully invested in something looking like a Rolex, that just keeps time.
Yeah I concur I think 👍
15:38 if you look at a gmt master 2 it looks the same
Yes I noticed that after recording this video actually! Good shout 👍
@@Time_and_time_again great review definitely picking one up for summer
@@danielkiss7003 thanks mate and you’ll enjoy it I’m sure 🙏👍
*promo sm*
? 😊
I have the exact same watch but for some reason I can't love it. From a distance it does look gorgeous but upon closer look you notice the dial is completely flat: no applied indices. The bezel insert is very small and stiff. And also the clasp looks and feels like complete garbage. I'm now regreting I didn't buy the San Martin for half the price.
Ahhh sorry to hear that you can’t love it! It’s definitely all subjective this watch game! The san Martin is great value for money by the way 👍
the indices are most definitely applied
@@climbmaintain they are printed on the dial. Not applied.
@@MrKacperk it’s 100% applied. I’m looking at mine now
@@climbmaintainnegative. I also owned this exact same watch. It's a silver ring filled with a white color. That's it. I now have a GMT Master 2 BLNR and those indexes are applied (ie they lie noticeably higher) which creates a 3D effect. The Steinhart doesn't which makes the dial look boring and cheap.
