For anyone on the fence with Steinhart but worry about the homage thing it is a huge mistake to write them off as just an homage brand. In terms of build quality they are on par with watches from big brands that cost many times more than them and they use the same movements.
They are a galaxy away from the cheap crappy brands that make cheap rubbish look like a bigger brand/hard to get watch. They are near impossible to beat when it comes to quality/price ratio.
This one looks great.

I have the Adventurer and like it. And the Metropole looks awesome!
It's only one thing I would like to change with these watches. The domed crystal makes reflections hard to avoid. At least it could have been less domed, it's actually the most domed crystal I have seen on a watch. But a flat crystal would be best.
I have just got the Adventurer. I love it, but agree that a flat sapphire crystal would look better!
I call it aquamarine like my tactical frog because Doxa calls it that. I’m going to wear this colour this summer, so it better still be in style

I think you failed to mention the caseback. The one you have has a beautiful Augsburg engraving. It also has drilled lugs.
I just went to an AD today to purchase and and it was just a generic Steinhart logo engraving and no drilled lugs! Dealbreaker
At 39mm, it looks too massive than it should be. Probably from the flat lugs and thickness. Oh well, I ended buying a westend watch instead

Microbrands just can’t figure out the logo on the dial and it’s no different with steinhart.
That huge logo is awful.
Pointy lugs and not sitting flush on wrist. Otherwise a home-run.

Oh dear, such a lot of clutter on the dial... ("you don't have too much happening..."? haha...) and that terrible logo, ridiculous! San Martin do this one MUCH better on EVERY level at a MUCH better price.

Untrue. Both legal by definition.
So ugly, a Classic steinhart that Just copies other good things of other watches. Maybe only pagani design can do worst
If it’s copping the good stuff how is it ugly? It’s ok not enjoying homages. if you have the money to buy every Rolex color out there plus the money for servicing them, I would probably hate it as well.
In fact I used to dislike homages, that changed (believe me or not) after I got my first Rolex, I gives you the feel of something good (steinhart at least does it) but not having to worry about all the money that goes into buying to maintaining or even scratching the watch. I actually feel more free whit them

I don’t feel like to spend 27k on the OP turquoise, so I ordered this model above , it will be my 3rd steinhart 😂
The holes in the body are looking so bad. Why they made this? My old ocean one didn't have this holes....
