Wow! Love your finishes, especially the rick rack on Scary II. Here's a rick rack tip I learned from Vonna, the Twisted Stitcher - she burns the ends of her rick rack to stop if from unraveling. I guess it's made of plastic and if you just put the tip of a flame there for a second, it melts the edges and they can't unravel. I've done it a few times and it works great. Looking forward to your next video.

Always good to see you two in action. LOVE the Scattered Seeds installment. Wonder if that huge crocheted blanket in merino will end up either pilling or felting a bit (even if it's superwash). Merino is a short wool so...yeah. Pilling is prevalent. Still, it's lovely and will be cozy and most of those under it won't care about pilling!

When you do close-ups of stitching, putting your finger in front of the stitching makes the camera focus and you can see it way more clearly! It's like it makes the camera see where to focus because of the movement. As always, LOVE your videos. Thank you for taking the time to share. Feel free to AI me, lol.

I think there is more blue fabric around. I was looking for some for years, and the only one dying it seemed to be Linen and Flax. But some white thread is a challenge, so thanks for the double top leg stitch idea.

The gourd piece would look great in a winter white frame!

I was just down in Kentucky and I toured the Maker's Mark Distillery and near there are those big wood buildings that you showed on your Saltbox. They are quite impressive. I am definitely a person who needs quiet during that first wonderful cup of coffee.

Love all the color choices - amazing and fun. Preparedness has always been important to me, I always finish my Bible Study, am a list maker, etc. but as I age, I have relaxed in some of this and it feels ok to me. Enjoy your families in the atmosphere of Thankfulness. hugs

I always found the secret to teaching was to be over prepared but ready to change directions in an instant. Flexibility had to be my middle name so every lesson could be what the student needed. I must state though, I was a private teacher so it was easier to be flexible than if I was teaching twenty children. Teachers in schools are amazing. As always…a fantastic and enjoyable video. 🦉🧵🪡🎄

Great FFOs. I would work the pumpkins top to bottom, or at least 2-3 x's from the farthest left side of each pumpkin, in each row, also going down. Pretty WIPs. Hope you bought the Advent Box as it is now sold out. Very nice fabrics. Oh, the Day of the Dead still freaks me out. Enjoy your pizza dinner.

I agree that the Penny Pumpkin probably needs a darker fabric, though, i have grown much more accepting of ghosty stitches, kind of looks elegant sometimes. Your channel is truly one of my favorites. I love you guys so much that I started at the beginning of your videos to catch them all and I never do that. I love that magnet finish idea especially for seasonal motifs. I was thinking of doing some of those same patterns and making pins out of them. They would be fun to wear at the All Hallows Art Fest in Petaluma next year. Thanks for another great video. You both have inspired again!

Sorry, I'm just getting around to commenting , I have already watched your flosstube 2x. This is not unusual for my favs. It is always a fun time. Like you say, visiting with friends. The wedding sounded great. I loved the pictures. It always sounds like a wonderful time when you and your sisters can be together. I know what it's like to be separated by miles. As you know, I'm the one from the good ole Eastern Shore of Md. All 3 of my siblings and their families are there. Carolyn, the sweater looked great with your dress. Thanks for another amazing episode! I need to get a few of the new Artsy Housewife patterns! Starting last year I've made my daughter 2 of the Prairie Schooler pieces as ornaments on black perforated paper. Last year she got 2 black cats with eyes in colors that match her 2 real black cats. This year I stitched the Owl and harvest moon. I plan to add a few pieces from Satsuma Street, too.

I haven't been to Needle in a Haystack yet. I'm going to take the ferry from Vallejo to SF and then SF to Alameda. You mentioned you need an appointment. Do you know if they take appointments on week days?
