Such a fun and MERRY mash up!!!! I enjoyed every minute. I loved seeing all your past finishes, your new starts and your WIPS. I know what you mean about crafting together with a friend and just enjoying crafting conversations. Flosstubers have sure been a tremendous blessing to those of us who don't have family close by or someone to craft with. Thankyou so much for helping to fill that void. My wishes to you both and your families for a very Merry holiday season, also enjoy every minute of your time away from school. You deserve it. May you both have a healthy and happy 2024. You are already making stitchy plans for the new year. Til next time, Donna
I find the bond among stitchers hard to explain to people who don't stitch! Carolyn and I had lots of family fun and a restorative time away from school. I did very little stitching, but I'm back at it now. Happy 2024 to you, Donna, and Happy Crafting! -Anna
It was fun to dig out all the projects from "storage" - haha! Today was my last day of school and I can't wait for some stitching hours! Happy Crafting, Carol! -Anna
So many pretty projects you have stitched! I love the Christmas Countdown SAL.... so fun! Merry Christmas and cheers to lots of creative adventures in 2024!

Seeing all of your Christmas pieces was such a treat. I think you two are quickly becoming my favorite enablers. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful projects and sharing your time and crafting in the past year. Wishing you and yours a warm and wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
Isn't it fun to share ideas with each other and dream and decide what projects to start?! I just love the whole process! Merry, merry to you to Lorraine, and Happy Crafting! -Anna
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Anna and Carolyn! Your videos are so fun to watch. Always love to see what you two are up to and creating. Enjoy the holiday! Happy stitching!
Merry Merry Christmas ladies! Lamarca Prosecco is my family’s favorite sparkling drink! Those ‘splits’ are fun too but I always want more. 🎉 Happy New Year and happy stitching. Your stitching is beautiful too ❤

Hello Ladies ! What a wonderful episode, full of Christmas gorgeousness! I just love your easy watch style and how lucky you are to have a love of shared stitchiness! Your KB's are divine.. Wishing you both A Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
You made me by Esther and Share Joy! ❤ I was stitching on When Heaven and Nature Sing while watching your Flosstube Tube. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both and your families.
Haha! We admire your stitching, Karen! Which section of "And Heaven and Nature Sing" are you working on? Holiday Wishes to you, too, and Happy Crafting! -Anna
Thanks, Connie! The pressure is on, now that I've talked about FFO-ing aloud - haha! I'm looking forward to making those decisions and doing a little sewing. Happy Crafting! -Anna
It was so nice to spend time with you today. You have lots of wonderful stitching, and plans. I ususally stitch small perforated paper patterns in hand (stab method). Wishing you a very happy, merry Christmas, and all good wishes for 2024, Arleen
Thanks for sharing your experience stitching on perforated paper. Over the last few weeks, Carolyn and I have had a great time thinking more specifically about our stitching plans for the year! Happy 2024, Arleen, and Happy Crafting! -Anna
@@we.are.curiouscrafters I have went down the quilting rabbit hole! Working on my 2nd one, making slow progress. AND, bought a mitre saw to repurpose some frames and many other big plans for a craft space.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS, Enjoy your Christmas vacations. All 40 years of teaching….. I really looked forward to this time off. Always went back refreshed and ready for new adventures. Depending on the size of your perforated paper it is possible to attach it to stretcher bars. The thumbtacks fit right in the holes and so no damage is done to the paper. Some Mill Hill kits I have done have the stitching coming very close to the edges and I just do that last after removing them from the bars. HAPPY STITCHING.
For me, the fall months at school feel like the formative months for the students, and when December Break rolls around we have built a community. And I'm tired - haha! Carolyn and I had a wonderful vacation (I still have a few more days off). Thanks for your tip about stretcher bars. We are familiar with them from our needlepoint years but hadn't thought of using them for perforated paper. Happy 2024, Jane, and Happy Crafting! -Anna
A toast to both of you ladies....lovely show and thanks for all you do. As I was watching/listening I was starting my Joan Elliott Winter Solstice because today is Winter Solstice. LOVE that pattern. Am using recommended floss and am doing it on 32ct Belfast Linen by Picture This Pus called Crystal Icon. Very sparkly and beautiful.. Happy and Healthy New Year as well ❤
First of all, I love you both and really enjoy your videos. My wallet doesn't always approve though, as I've found many more patterns that I would like to stitch. But that's just the way it is. Anna, I do the same thing; taking pictures with my phone. I even have an album for "Ideas". That might include a different way to finish something or an embellishment I hadn't thought of as well as patterns I would like to get. But it does help to weed out some patterns too. 'What was I thinking?' 'That's why I liked it; I already have it.' Or just found something I like better. And I just like perusing my own personal LNS on occasion. Wishing you both a very Merry Christmas - together with some happy stitching - and looking forward to seeing you in the new year.
I tend to buy patterns in clusters of two or three after thinking about many options for a long time. It's part of the fun for me! Merry, merry to you too Susan! And Happy Crafting! -Anna
You both bring such joy to my day. Merry, merry, my friends. I am using Red Berries by MFE as my two threads a day piece for the month of December. I love it.
Looking forward to seeing your progress on Red Berries, Sarah! I've been thinking about doing two threads a day in 2024 for The Fruits of Plenty. I've heard you talk about that process but have never tried it myself. Carolyn and I hope to see you in 2024 - let's make it happen! :) Happy Crafting! -Anna
I just received in the mail Pineberry Lane Merry Christmas wall hanging pattern. I can't wait to start it. Loved seeing your projects. Merry Christmas!
Your North Pole projects are looking great! I stitched the Primrose Cottage Autumn Quaker this year and am currently working on the Christmas one using Belle Soie Cranberry on green fabric. I saw someone stitch the project in red and just the tree in green. I loved seeing your Evertote Holiday Countdown piece, Carolyn. I didn't opt for that one but perhaps should have! Have a wonderful Christmas with your families.
I know I've mentioned this to you before, but it's always extra fun when our stitching overlaps like this! Speaking of that, I just purchased some Mississippi Mud, with "Quaker Block Print" in mind. I have admired your finish. Happy 2024, Clare, and Happy Crafting! -Anna
Loved the video! I'm not much of a holiday stitcher, but some of the things you showed look like they're my style! I may rethink my stand on holiday stitches🙂 A Merry Christmas to you both, spend time loving those families!
Merry Christmas to you, too. Carolyn and I are getting some extra special time with extended family. Happy Crafting, holiday stitching or not! :) -Anna
I'm also stitching the Evertote Holiday Countdown and both excited to finish it soon and a bit sad that is coming to an end. Also stitching Prairie Schooler's Christmas Villag, as I've had the pattern for years and decided it was time to get it done and on my wall for next Christmas! Busily FFOing a few last finished for gifts to family. Thanks for sharing all your Merry goodness. Merry Christmas!
What fun! I keep seeing "Christmas Village" - it's such a cozy scene! Hope your finishing went smoothly. The glue on the ornament I made Carolyn was still drying when I brought it over to her house on Christmas Eve - haha! Happy 2024, Deb, and Happy Crafting! -Anna
Thank you. I’m stitching in the deer. I worked the trees across the top to get to the deer. I have the head done. After seeing yours I can hardly wait to do the wreath around the neck. I want to get more of the body done first.
Thank uou my pals - I only feel like the "companionship" piece with certain people, zi guess we all do. But you 2 sure fit that bill and Merry Merry for the next few weeks!
I find it interesting that we can feel different kinds of connection and companionship, even over video. Happy Crafting, pal, and Merry Merry to you tool! -Anna
Carolyn - I was so hoping you would show your MFE/Evertote/Roxy Christmas countdown sampler - I love your color conversion. Love the Kathy Barrick Heaven and Nature Sing stitch - that’s on my “to-do soon” list (but aren’t they all?). I’ve started the Noel Sampler, but have a long way to go on it yet - it’s a beautiful chart. And omgosh- I’m stitching Ester too - I love your color conversion on the sheep - I’ve been concerned that my sheep won’t show up very well on my fabric - I didn’t think about stitching it in gray - great idea. Merry merry Christmas to you both.
I agree, Peg. Carolyn is doing color conversions more and more, and she has such an eye. Reach out if you want the colors Carolyn used on Esther. Enjoy all your holiday stitching, Merry Christmas, and Happy Crafting! -Anna
A most excellent merry mash up! Love, love the December 25 by KB, changing the sheep color made a wonderful difference. Have you seen Noel on a darker background, maybe Socks for Mom??? I just saw it this week and now am itching to start it. My sisters ( in their 70s) live far away and only want to exercise and talk about fiber and osteoporosis so I'm on my own here 😂Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy 2024.
No, I haven't seen the piece you referenced - I'll keep an eye out! Your comment about your sisters made me laugh! To each her own. Thankfully we all have our stitching buddies in this community! Happy 2024 and Happy Crafting! -Anna
