Every part of the ride was more than perfect

Thunder Run was my, and my cousins,' favorite ride. We would make it a challenge to find all the dragons in the tunnels. Do they still have water park rides? I do not think you mentioned the water section. I would like to know if I still need to either bring a bathing suit, or a change of clothes the next time I go. I really want to go around Halloween if I ever get the chance.

They have a fast pass option now to pay for a wrist band to get you past the lineups. Expensive tho!

A year later and its even worse, there's now a wait in the fast pass line too. I get free tickets multiple times a year that come with food. I just go, ride one ride, eat, ride one more ride then leave, i dont have the patience to stand in more lines.

Haven’t been there in years but I have fond memories despite gigantinormus lines. The only other theme park I’ve been too since has been laronde because it’s close by but it’s pretty mid compared to some places in the states

Glight Deck, when it was brand new ("Top Gun") was such an amazing and modern coaster when it came out. I disagree with your opinion on bad rides. But I haven't been at any other amusement parks.

FWIW, you're not going to get electrocuted by the lights in the water, they'd all be extra low voltage (>30V.) Don't do it, because it's stupid, but you pretty much never put higher voltage installs in water.

This was a great place before all the subdivisions were built in the late 90s. Now it's full of local kids all summer long. I went on a Wednesday, in the rain and still waited over 2hrs to go on a coaster. Never even went to the water park due to how packed it was. I was there an entire day and went of 5 rides. Never again.

It's issue is also no competition. Only other park I can think of in the Golden Horseshoe is Marineland and it is horrible compared to well anything. Tho is does have an active rail line going through it

Like everything in Canada, mass i mmigration has overloaded it. 3% population growth a year will do that, thats the equivalent of the US letting in 20 million new people per year

the trick is to go right at open on a Tuesday that's TEASING rain all day I guarantee you'll have 10 minute lineups

yeah the lines are too long at backlot stunt coaster for them to keep the effects on anymore. when i was a kid i got to experience it with all of the effects (was after it was banned the italian job tho) and it was so sick. i wish they brought it back but they can't really

I rememeber when Behemoth and Leviathan opened, it generated a lot of hype. I haven't been back to Wonderland since it was owned by Paramount, when the most popular ride at the time was Top Gun. I think it's a good amusement park, but it has a problem that I'm sure a lot of parks have: It's the only permanent park in the GTA with anything worth while. It's a large park, but it has no room to expand (Major roads on all sides). Also, the fact that the Season's Pass has not gone up in price since it was introduced, with promotional pricing dropping to as little as $60 before the season starts. They do have early day rides for season's pass owners, but does anyone really want to get up and hike out to Vaughan at 8AM? Not really, especially taking Toronto traffic into account. I think the GTA needs another park, probably in the Hamilton area, or in the East side near Pickering or Oshawa. But that's a massive investment that most people don't want to go for. Also, I remember The Bat having issues with halting at least 3 times a season growing up, one time during the loop which essentially required shutting the park down for a time because emergency crews had to get people down.

Unpopular opinion, i missed the days when paramount would go all out on themes and costumes. seeing a romulan and a ferengi "argue" as they opened up shop was hilarious to me. I liked the rides themed after movies, the exhibits and informstion posted in queue lines with facts and trivia. it was imersive. Now, its a cedar park cash grab ajd every innovation is about making money more than delivering on a cihesive amusment experience. They charge ridiculous amounts for fast pass, and u less you season pass everything to visit multiple times to get value from your dollar, you are going to be gouged at like 4 times the rate trying to cram everythjng into a single day, which is impossible won days with high guest volumes

Canada's Wonderland is my home park and I used to love going when I was younger growing up but after going to Cedar Point it simply doesn't even come close to their rides. I can't believe they decided to spend all that money and space on Leviathan after already having Behemoth in the park (yes I know it's not exactly the same but along the same lines), they could have easily gone a top thrill dragster or steel vengeance direction and would have been WAY better. Also, the flat rides all feel similar, boring, and get stuck a lot. Hoping they can revamp this park in the future to be more like Cedar Point or other leading parks...

I will say, flight deck is 100% a ride that should've been removed years ago. I remember riding it even back around 2010 and not liking it because of how bad the head rattling was. I last time I tried it was probably around 2014 and I swore it off after that. impossible to enjoy the ride when my head is being treated like a pinball

As a local I can say the best way to enjoy Wonderland is to come throught the day during the week in October. Halloween Haunt runs all through October which is underwhelming and overpacked, but throughout the day during this time the park is way less occupied and wait times are massively shorter.

I’ve always felt like wonderland is cedar fairs beta test park where they test new models before wider adoption across the continent

Wonderland is my home and the only really unfixable problem is the lack of space, which is not a unique problem for the park. As for the rides, some of the older attractions do need to be replaced with newer additions. Flight Deck and Time Warp are without a doubt the least popular rides in the park. These are likely the first to be replaced. Minebuster just got a retracking and is the better woodie, so I’d love to see Wilde Beast get the RMC treatment. As for the flats, Tundra Twister and Lumberjack are pretty decent but Soaring Timbers absolutely sucks and I’m sure the management regrets building this ride because it has a lot of downtime and isn’t super popular with the guests.

So true about the crowds and waiting. To go on something like the Behemoth or Leviathan you're waiting in line for at least 2 to 3 hours. Same with most of the water slides. Wait an hour for a slide that lasts maybe 30 seconds. I think the only way to remedy this problem would be to build more parks here in Canada. We only really have one major amusement park here which is this one. But now days it's so hard to start something like that because of liability and all that. No insurance company would want to insure such a business and if they did it would cost too much. Wonderland has been around for so long with little to no incident which is why they can get insured.

The park is a fun place and it’s also relatively affordable. As a close to but not close enough to be truly local it’s not bad, the rides are great overall and it spans across large age ranges. But the lines have become a major issue. Their’s also the experiences of the Halloween haunt and the winter wonderland to consider as well, but the problems will get worse (lines) as the years go or when they push for even bigger rides to draw more thrill seekers The biggest thing it needs though in my opinion are - better value and quality food - better line control - few more rides to spread out the crowds better

Riding this next week, so excited.
