Vortex got a massive repaint this year so I don’t think Canada’s Wonderland is intending to remove Vortex. I love this ride, and the fact that S&S and Canada’s Wonderland are still keeping it around is impressive.
@@TonyKimtheamusementparkfan It's great to hear they're still okay. Ninja at MM got a bunch of parts from Astro World when they closed theirs. I just figured time was ticking on these rides.
The concert coaster could also wind up in the Kingswood area, since that section of the park is woefully underutilized. Bonus points: it's also right beside Time Warp and Flight Deck.
Time Warp really doesn't take up much more room than a flat ride when you think about it. Something big could easily be placed over top of it, if they really wanted to. I'm no fan of it, but I still think removing it would be a bit of a mistake. Flight Deck, on the other hand...kill it with fire. Love the idea of a potential [partially] Rush-themed coaster though.
Don't remember the date of the Carowinds survey for Aeronautica Landing but according to the manager of construction during a construction tour of the land, he said Aeronautica Landing was scheduled to open in 2020 but was delayed until 2023. I would not put too much weight into those surveys and timing. The park likely has already ordered what they want. This is only to include the public in the process. The coaster type that is mentioned twice is it. Carowinds did a similar tactic. Of the three listed, two were rides they had in the past, (rapids and flume). This tells me they have already selected the water coaster.
I think the wooden coaster concept might be the most likely. It would fit into the push of highly themed area & mesh with what has already been done with Frontier Canada section. Also, the park would actually have a good modern wooden coaster. This could make one of the other wooden coasters original to the park expendable in the future...They could in the future RMC Wild Beast & could extend the layout if necessary into the go karts area, Cedar Fair has essentially killed off go karts at every park in the last decade except Wonderland. They could also go the other route & possibly extend into & take out their Vekoma boomerang. If they don't revamp the Boomerang soon, like Carowinds with vest restraints or at least paint it, that might mean it's on the future chopping block.
The Bat, Wonderland's boomerang, has been breaking down a ton recently, so I don't think they will keep it around. I really hope Cedar Fair starts working with Vekoma! Also - another thing to note, Wilde Beast has been getting marks on the supports in the same spots Grizzly did before its refurbishment, so maybe next year Wilde Beast will be redone by Gravity Group!
@lightningboat I forgot about the Wild Beast markings. If they give it the Gravity Group prefab treatment and add the modern wood coaster then Minebuster becomes expendable
@@MCQ-fq6bv Minebuster does have a good layout and has a great perception of speed throughout. Would be nice to see it get a re-tracking (which it desperately needs) because it could still be a standout.
There is a 0.000% chance that Vortex would be removed. Vortex is consistently a 45 minute+ lineup for all but bad weather days. It is a longstanding park favorite. Time Warp? Even though it's got a tiny footprint, it sucks. Eff that ride.
I’m surprised they are putting the new major addition of the chain in Canada’s Wolderland. The park gets insane crowds and money regardless of what they add because it’s one of the only major parks in the area, so people are gonna come regardless. Adding something like that to Kings Dominion would make more sense.
The park is usually so inundated with crowds that waits are prohibitively long, hurting both guest experiences and guests' desire to spend money inside the park. It doesn't help that a majority of the crowds head to three specific coasters.
Hate to sound like a Nativist and Nationalist to you Canadians but It would be stupid idea, because there was already a park in our country but in Virginia Called Volcano The Blast Coaster that closed down and should be revived their.
I love that intro!
Thanks!
I keep wondering how much longer the remaining Arrow Suspended Coasters will be around. They look like they're still holding up pretty good.

Yeah I would love for it to stick around

This might be spot on! I still think 2026 would be the year though
I like the fact that they are asking us for our opinions
Do carowinds soon

Time Warp? Even though it's got a tiny footprint, it sucks. Eff that ride.
CW needs to add multiple people eaters to barely keep up
Badly.
Flight Deck could be given the Great Nor-Easter treatment and rethemed
Who's here after AlpenFury was announced?

Yeah it’s the same type of thing with Orion. Chains always add big coasters to big parks because they’ll always get a good ROI no matter what
YES! make the Volcano wing coaster by B&M and the GCI family woodie for 2025! But PLEASE find a way to keep Vortex!
don't worry, vortex ain't going anywhere! it just got a fresh repaint and it does not take up that much space.
@@vdgvova9495 Alright!
Hi
What’s good
CW needs to leave the mountain ALONE! They'll for sure ruin the esthetic! What the park needs is either a massive wooden ride or a massive RMC.
I understand that for sure, just want to see another good ride come to the park
But CW just got a new coaster!!!
First and love your videos
Thanks!
