- Cedar Point has announced that Top Thrill Dragster is returning in a new and reimagined form for 2024. With the entire infield of the ride being torn up, and new rumors arising about who will be the manufacturer to reform this refurbishment, I thought it'd be a great time to throw some of my predictions out there. Today, I'll be answering all the big questions about this ride from all the information we've gathered throughout the past few months.

The idea you casually mentioned about dragster going through the top hat in reverse is really intriguing to me. If they did that, it would give them more space for the LSMs, would definitely spice up the ride, and would almost definitely need them to add an airtime hill for extra braking space, faster progression through the block and more thrill.
The current drop has a spiral twist. The coaster could not be launched up that side without a total vertical retracking.

Great video🎶🎵🤘 my ultimate dream would be (if we really need Zamperla involved☹️☹️)...Zamperla to provide the Lightning Trains....and Intamin to do the actual coaster work. But that's just me dreaming. Regardless I do think there will be some sort of added element to the layout....marketing it as the new 2024 coaster with all the hype behind it...if all they do is pop on an LSM launch system they are going to have nothing to market. "Introducing our new for 2024 coaster....nothing has changed....just a less extreme launch....now buy a season pass"🤣😂🤣☠️☠️☠️

What if the rumoured spike is actually another Top hat?
Zamperla has the chance to hit it big if they can market themselves as the solution to all of your Intamin problems. They could be the next RMC for Steel coasters specifically Intamins.
Zamperla isn't doing it. That'd be such a big risk. Idk why u all assume they are doing it, nothing indicates that. What has zamperla done? Nothing. They haven't even made a decent high thrill coaster
@Alec S but Intamin isn't? STR almost killed 9 people, TTD has had issues for 19 yrs, WT had major structural issues and required extra bracing only for the park to decide to tear it down. I305 was a bust and again needed major reprofiling. Hershey has washed there hands of Intamin over the Skyrush fail which by the way they couldn't even make comfortable seat. There use to never be an RMC either and now they have a huge footprint in the market. Also Intamin has been notorious for being a pain to work with.
I think Zamperla could get quite a few jobs with this. They probably are doing this to get their lighting trains on the market for their own coasters
No we want the world record go up the top half then come backwards full speed to LSM Lunch 650 feet vertical Spike then go up the top half when coming down go over a 200 feet Hill then circle around slowly lets go crazy with it guys be lot of fun

Then they are both in agreement. Makes the source that much more reliable. Personally, I agree with them. The others, such as Brandon from Theme Park Predictions, are having pipe dreams, I believe.

It will be F1 themed. Trains will be themed to f1 style cars. That's why it says formula. That or it's sponge Bob themed and you try to get the formuler

First of all, stop. That family (the victims) has been through enough. We don't need videos circulating further highlighting the tragedy just so you can try and "cancel" someone. It's not going to happen. There's people that profited off that tragedy using hashtags and still continue to be the largest figures in the youtube community....while also doing anything they can to try and get people's money using Patreon to pay for their trips. They have also done and said racist things in the past but they just run and hide from it. You are climbing up the wrong tree when it comes to problematic people in this community. And there doesn't need to be anymore Orlando Freefall videos plain and simple. Let that family grieve.
The family deserves the truth! You all are just afraid to confront it! No balls in this industry! Sorry but no balls at all! It’s alright for news articles before the accident! Dan bragging about keeping people safe! But after the accident he deleted about 200 hours of footages around him working on building the ride! Don’t worry it’s all going to come out in the lawsuit!

I'm not afraid to admit anything but when it's a situation as serious as that, youtube videos rnt gonna do a thing. Let the legal system handle it.
@Greg Carder he deleted the footage out of respect for the family...instead of keeping it up and continuing to monetize on it through views like other creators have done. Others even went further and added hashtags to draw viewers into their videos. Additionally not a single lawsuit involves him. Not one. Not from the family...nothing. So, yes he did work on the ride while it was being constructed, but to point the finger at him is ridiculous. I read through the lawsuits. Nothing is coming out lol.
