- Six Flags is finally back to adding new thrill rides to their parks! The rumor mill has been churning lately, so today, I'll be going over which parks I think will be getting new roller coasters in 2024! There's a list of parks that have been teasing new additions, so I'll breakdown each park's chances of getting a new roller coaster one by one!

They need to put SOMETHING where the Giant Wheel was at Darien Lake. That spot looks so empty.
I recently went to Darien lake and found out a BUNCH of exciting news. I actually met the manager of the park and asked him about new additions. He said 2024 they will retract another 300 feet of predator as well as adding a 2nd train to Superman and revamping it to make feel like when it first came out in 1999.

@@amusementscapethere is also some bad news tho he said no new roller coasters or flat rides will be coming soon. Instead refurbishment. Like new vest restraints on viper and mind eraser. He also mentioned the new Dinosaur car ride at new
England and how lily tizzys might be re themed to something similar
And new electronic systems for motocoaster as it is apparently unreliable

What SFGAm needs to do is....COMPLETELY renovate the American Eagle!! Strengthen the foundation and support, plus get new trains!

13:42 Six Flags Darien Lake would be perfect for a Super Flumez + family coaster set like Flying Viking & Drachen Falls at Adventureland in Iowa and Tony's Express & Leti's Treasure at Luna Park in downstate New York.
There are rumors that Frontier City could be getting a new trash can within the next 3 years!
I really hope Darien lake retracks predator next year
It has such a great layout and great airtime, it just hurts my poor legs when I’m on it, so I end up skipping it every time I’m there 😢. I hope they complete the titan retracking this upcoming season as well!

I find it creative of how SFOG decided to have someone parody a news report of a crate being shipped to the park that would later an Ultra Surf being announced at their Coaster Fest event. They even parodied their local news channel as WSF 67 action news
Something like Tundra Twister at a Six Flags park would be absolutely amazing
Darien Lake really needs more Adult Flat Rides because the only one they have that’s not a pay extra is their S&S Space Shot Blast Off

Darien lake needs a giant discovery where the old wheel used to be or a Park expansion in the old grizzly run and the old barracuda bay area, or put a new coaster in that area.
I think Six Flags Great America is getting a Giant Discovery Pendulum Spinning Ride Next Year

Six flags isn’t necessarily stingy with their coasters.. its been like a year since selim became the ceo, big coasters take years to plan and build. For now they’re doing their best by adding off the shelve coasters… I say we start getting large scale coasters again around 2026-2027.
My Six Flags park is Great America and I definitely agree all the clues are pointing towards a Zamperla Giga Discovery Wheel on the old Dare Devil Dive site. However there is an unaccounted land plot where Buccaneer Battle was and the Winners Circle go karts right next to it that has been rumored for removal or relocation. Those two areas combined could make space for a larger attraction down the road.
Darien Lake should add a RMC Wild Moose right next to Moose on the loose. 😂

SFA is also relocating a few rides from their Whistlestop area to other areas of the park, so it’s likely they’re removing that whole section soon.
No telling how many rides will be staying just yet, nor what’ll happen to the Coyote Creek area.
Sounds like they might be trying to scale down the park in size to save money

Yeah mind eraser is most likely on its way out too, not sure about the rest of that area
St. Louis will announce something the GM confirmed and SFDK was teasing something for 2024 months ago so I expect an announcement from them too. I’d also keep an eye out for Over Texas and Great Escape (though you mentioned that one).
St. Louis has rookie racers this year. It's almost done being built. Not sure what they have planned for 2024

Six flags St.louis is going to open Rookie Racer for the 2023 season The new general manager has stated that the park is getting something for the 2024 season
Also six flags St.louis new general manager is pushing for the Boss to be Rmc either for the 2024 or 2025 season
My home park is great America I was really hoping for a rmc treatment for the eagle but a new flat ride would be awesome
After the new teaser I think that it's possibly a dive coaster or a giga discovery

I agree with the vid but im also thinking sfne will get something on the Goliath plot of land, if not 2024 then 2025 as they said 2025 will Also have a lot of additions
at this point, 2024 isn't seeming likely 🙃 hopefully we atleast get something like some TLC and an addition for the water park.
I think they should bring back the Batman and robin roller coaster that six flags great adventure, New Jersey had in the past
I think that great adventure should get more than a super boomerang for 50 years, but I wouldn’t complain if thats what they get.

Looks like Six Flags New England is Getting the Short end of the stick again next year. Last Season All we got a crappy dinosaur retheme of Wacky Wheelz. Maybe some day Six Flags could give us a raptor or Max Force Clone.

SFSTL needs a replacement for Excalibur. also maybe a thrill coaster because there due one for 11 years at the point. also the general manager said hes on team RMC after say a question about the boss. so maybe RMC boss and that can include 1 or 2 more small rides

For great America I’m leaning more towards either a giga discovery or a sky screamer
They are stupidly going on a huge spending spree, just like what got them in trouble in the first place. Instead of Cedar Fairs smarter steady investment approach. SFA is getting a few new garbage cans, too.
we can't build on at our six flags but we can take rides out and put new ones it bc noise control neighborhood why won't add on
I thing great America will get swinging ride not coaster and the swinging ride they have be removed as it’s junk. For coaster they need to refresh the eagle as it’s in bad shape so I can see capital restoring that ride

I’m only saying that they need to get rid of El Toro because it’s a safety hazard it’s not a safe roller coaster as it used to be and they need to rip it down and replace it and put in a ride that’s not gonna get people injured like El Toro
Darien Lake is rumored to rip out several more rides and a few coasters so they can compete with Niagara Amusement Park for how fast guests can get park completion.

Six Flags New Jersey needs to get rid of El Toro and replace it with another roller coaster
My boldest predictions
Six flags great America and six flags over Texas will receive some b&m coasters to come (floorless or standup)
Six flags great adventure will get an RMC hybrid in the future having 3 inversions
Six flags American will get a launch intamin coaster with no inversions in the future
Fiesta Texas will destroy pandemonium to put a flat ride there
Magic mountain will most likely rebuild scream to make it less rough and less headbanging
Over Georgia will rebuild Georgia scorcher as a floorless coaster
Why would SFOG want to convert their stand-up into a floorless? That should be only done if riders find it uncomfortable riding while standing-up. By any means, their stand-up is considered to be the best out of all of the ones that currently exist.
