I love those subfloor sheets with the tongue and groove. I see that a lot, and when we do ours here in Oregon, we are looking at the pier and beam construction

I saw a guy using grip clamps when overlapping the joists before nailing them together, and using a palm nailer for tight spots, but as with everything, there are many ways to get to the same destination

I have seen the same beam construction, but there is always these little tips, tricks, and caveats to a build.

I have a similar plan to avoid the high cost of these premanufactured windows, but I am considering Insulated glass. Was that a consideration for your project? If so why not?

Im re-plumbing my home with Pex pipe right now as under slab copper is beginning to fail. Always the cost saving is what motivates me to take on a project. Can’t say I enjoy it but it’s always good to learn something new.

How are you tou venting your aframe? Typically ive seen plastic rafter vents going up all the walls and vented out the ridge vent. I didnt see any of that here. Maybe mold and moisture isnt as big of an issue as it is here in maine? Edit: i commented too early lol
