    I'm super impressed Darryl in both your deck design and construction as well as your video quality. It is hard to appreciate the time/planning and effort it takes to produce a quailty video on your own while your tring to build and you nailed it.

    You're doing a fantastic job all on your own. Love watching these videos. Those horizontal balusters really do need support in the middle. They will sag within a short period of time without additional support.

    those horizontal balusters look good when you first finish a deck, but they will all sag, and warp within a year, without stabilizers in the middle of the sections,
    is just the nature of wood in the weather, especially treated wood in the sun. speaking from experience.

    • @darryldarks
      @darryldarks  Год назад +1

      @mrmajestic345 Thanks for sharing that. Hopefully, the balusters are positioned closely enough to avoid deflection. I guess you’ll have to keep watching to see, my friend. 👍

    Looks awesome!! Jus have a question. Is there an expected code for step rise and tread?

    • @darryldarks
      @darryldarks  Год назад +1

      @skyking4501 Nope. But most stairs have a rise of 7-8 inches and a run of 10 inches. So, I just went with that. 👍
