    The bit and brace tool is very usefull hand tool . It can be used like the edge router , You only need to make a drill guide ( router press Attachment ) It can also be used like a lathe . All stuff you can do with a normal drill :: SO the drill / Router guide . is not hard to make !! I used to think i really needed the drill press , but the mpost important power tool investment apart form the normal hand dril , basically was the table saw !!! Even a Cheep table saw will do as it really helped me deal with wood. now i can take any wood ad get the peices i need at home . i can take a branch of a tree , and shape it ....if your working with metal then the drill press is vital ! ( not just for drilling !! also for other router attachments etc ..

    Already sold out and got you some festool items and custom nonetheless! 😂 Great video, one thing i would really like as a beginner is if you could go into a little more detail on what your doing and why if thats possible i dont know how difficult that would make it I'm sure it wouldnt make it easier but i think it would be helpful to viewers and appreciated. I went to a lumberyard near me once and i walked into the wrong area, it was the sales area i think and the three employees in there made me feel like an idiot for not knowing where i was going by snickering and acting like they were so cool because they knew how to navigate where they worked and i didn't. Wrote an appropriate and wordy review and havent tried a lumber yard again. I will someday soon. A different one of course. Thanks for the video

    I have an idea for your channel. I think it would be helpful to woodworking beginners like myself if you would get a bunch of sponsors, then buy a bunch of crazy expensive power tools like a sawstop and some 5 thousand dollar festool toilet paper, then review tools, but feel obligated to tell your viewers that you had to buy the tools out of your own pocket, as if thats something your viewers will feel bad for you, as if we have never bought a tool with our own money before. Then of course link to the tools you shockingly had to pay for with your money in the description, so when we buy tools with our own money, like we do for every tool we ever bought, you get some of that money. Finally put "beginner" in every video title, but do nothing but dunk on your humble viewers with all your expensive tools. I make stupid jokes too. Great video, great jokes, you mustn't go to the beach. There's nothing at the beach anyway. Keep doing exactly this. Thanks.

    Cool hammer and handle. We have alot of osage orange growing around here and it is very hard but very nice stuff to work with, probably one of my favorites. It also is easily on par with hickory on shock resistance, so perfect for a hammer handle. You probably have argentine osage orange, which is quite a bit softer and a bit straighter grain. I tend to use the local osage orange on the bottoms of my hand planes as boxing since it is hard and very wear resistant, while being very very stable.

    • @YRTi
      @YRTi 2 месяца назад

      Thank you! Yeah, I looked for available wood that is good for a hammer handle and I haven't worked with. and you have good eyes. I really chose a straight grain one. In fact, I wanted 2 blanks but as a store didn't have another good straight grain Osage orange, I bought olive wood for another hammer head but I have no idea where they are from... Anyways, again, thank you for the information:)

    • @ChirpysTinkerings
      @ChirpysTinkerings 2 месяца назад

      @@YRTi I wouldnt use olive for a hammer handle tbh. Usually the stuff Ive seen for sale, that comes from israel I believe, and is quite expensive to get. It's good for projects where it is used as an accent piece and really can shine. The other wood that I like for hammer handles is black locust, that stuff is a little softer than osage, but is very close to hickory and has the same good shock resistance of osage and hickory has. I do alot of carving in it and it's quite nice to work with. It grows like a weed here and is everywhere, and is very close to osage orange in rot resistance too, hence why both are used for fence posts around here.

      Thank you for the input! I've actually read the olive wood is shock-resistant and I already bought it so I'll try it anyways and see how it will go:) Well, yeah, it's pricy but as I got them when they were on sale and I only got 1 piece so the price difference from Osage was like few dollars..

      Thank you for the comment. I think it's difficult if you need to make it quickly but as long as you can take time on it, it's not as difficult as it looks:)

      Thank you for the comment! The Accu-Burr handle is maple, the main body of the card scraper holder is Cherry and I used walnut as an accent:)

    This is such a great process, and I REALLY appreciate the context you've provided here about how long I should expect this process to take when I have confidence in my approach. You managed to explain the purpose of the steps, not just a rote process to follow mindlessly. Great video.

    This is truly a work of art. The way you constructed your PC case and on a level that no DIY person would not even think of creating. I would definitely purchase this if I saw it on Amazon, FB, Ebay or wherever it was displayed. I hope you do great thing during your PC Case Building Journey.
