This sectional clearly shows it’s a ‘clone’ of TW3 design, so nothing “proprietary” about this at all. If they had introduced this in 2022, JL would have no doubt sued EM for clear patent infringement. It is certainly NOT the most shallow slim sub, that IS for sure. The fact is just two brands make true, real-deal ‘600 watt’ rms slimline subs - and neither one is named JL or Hertz (only Alpine and Audiomobile). In any case, no subwoofer at $400 plus, should ever use undersized VC, cheap poly cones and spade terminals. This is such a bs advertorial. Ugh!

where is b2 from?

Beautiful sub but it's a waste of wire to go any bigger than the gauge of tinsel leads. You want the same exact current flow throughout the entire signal. Using larger wire doesn't accomplish anything except spending more money.

very nice but out of my price range. i have paid big money in the past 500 back in 98 thats $998 today. i think the old ways were just as good as today. 2 8 ohm 12's running 4 ohm on a 750 watt amp was killin the game. ahh the good old daze.....

I have the 10 inch version. They use a cheaper basket on the 10s and no carbon dust cap but they are pretty nice and sounded great

Awesome review, B2 Audio has outstanding products.

The problem with this subs is the amount of power they need to get loud. I love my Xv3 12 and the NSv4 15 but I also love how my L715 sounds with not even half of that power, different categories, but still impressive, not the less.

nice review! yes, the thing pushes hard and loud! i'm completely satisfied with mine! i really like the fact that it has this short punch! how many liters does your speaker have and where is the tuning frequency? please also state whether gross or netto volume. Mine have 88 liters netto, FB on 32 HZ. The thing is so loud that I now have to upgrade my front. I want to install a DSP and am thinking about installing the Marts BTX8-DSP if it is available in Germany. Unfortunately my car has such a shitty signal, and the tweeter runs over the radio, do you know if the summing function is good? What would you recommend as a 2nd/3rd way system? up to approx. 400 €? thanks for your content! always appreciated!

B2 is in a class by itself the king of subs

Side loading those subs with how far the terminals are sticking that far out is asking for trouble.

This piece of crap didn't make its rated power output with jacked up input voltage, don't waste your money.

People complaining about the price lol. Once you install one and set it up/power it properly not many other brands can beat it. Eye opening once you hear them.

They are meant for people who love lows like me. I have an nsv4 18 and it blends well with my sq components. No issues with sound quality if you do it right.

Anybody: I want a 1 ohm load to my amp using 2 subs. Do I need dual 2 or dual 4.

Ive been trying a few combos on my CT sounds Meso 12. They call for 40 square inches, i have a bout 24 (slot) now and it Slams but trying to get 40 seems impossible in the 1.5 cubic foot box they recommend. I use sub box pro and winisd 40 inches seems ridiculous to me.

Your connection to the cap is bad. Redo it with a tight connection between input and output. Check the resistance of each line from load to source/ground to make sure you're not adding resistance in your cabling. A capacitor itself cannot add voltage drop. My guess is that you did not ugga the connections because this wasn't a permanent installation and you were going to be undoing and redoing them. You need them tight for a good connection or all you're testing is the lousiness of the connection.

honestly the correct aero port would be abou a 5.25" aero port would be equal to that slot port....i know you cant buy that size anywhere so you need a cnc machine to make it out of wood which i have done numerous times.....

Kind of a false comparision...a 6" aero port is 28 square inches versus your 22 slot port....and aero ports are way more efficient so that 6" is equal to around 36" inches of port.

Depends on what's the goalto achieve? Maximum loudness and less quality sound rec but if deeper and more quality sounding at given volume of course type of music being played and vehicle type wagon,trunk,suv etc, always wondered why round ported boxes aren't as common anymore. Also woofer brand and build quality of it possibly be something to consider 🤔 any time ever thought to understand something in the audio system world you meet someone with a setup you wouldn't believe if didnt see with own eyes 😉 back in my high school days more subs the better and amps bridged to hit hardest !! Smh what a dumb ass lol would get pissed everytime amps would cut off after blast it for hrs during drive crusades, then i met a dude at job i just started and how his ears were always hurting and aching blah blah, one day distribution warehouse was shut down for a repair and he asks would i like to hear his audio system, and i quickly agreed 😮 at time i had 4 10" solo baric 10's in a sealed box with 2 kicker zx400×2ch amps, now never heard anything about air volume requirements to get best sound in those days 17yrs old it just making ton of bass was all that mattered, So he has 2dr civic coupe like the 93-95 models and turns on system with 3-6 mafia and OMG i swore the car was rocking back and fourth from the air pressure coming out from rear seat area and had seats up in back nothing exposed or anything, i was assuming he had 15's or something to that level and he pops trunk and when i saw what was in his trunk, I SAID GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE !!! NO DAM WAY THAT WAS MAKING THE MUCH BASS !!!! dude had 2 10" alpine type R's in a ported box that took up the entire trunk of car 😂 from that day forward my inner voice was saying you dont know a dam thing about what your doing and or what good deep clean crisp and LOUD hitting system was until that day i heard that guys system😅 never had thought alpine subs were any good only there head units and possibly amps for mids and highs but bass would've laughed had not seeing what his system consisted of, its a real skill of art work and alot of variables to be considered and applied mathematically during picking of equipment used its not all about having best of everything but everything of combination of things used to achieve optimum sound, but with artists like Kodak black and the what's being called music today i pulled my system out and its all sitting in garage put away , funny cause know im 41yrs old and the brand i have is of dinasour era 😂 rockford subs,matts audio sub amps and jl audio amps for mids/highs, shit still looks brand new nearly 20yrs later hell still have 93 accord wagon it came out smh and it still works, dont know much about the newer brands out these days
