Buy bulk case of heatsinks as they are as cheap as just buying one of them, and put one on the chip if you run it at its full DC voltage. These do very well at their limit and would work a treat for small speaker projects.
For $13, you're not out much if it's actually crap. But since it does work as intended, it's worth purchasing. To bad whatever power supply you give, it will cost more than the actual product.
I bought these Alesis ONE monitors probably 5 years ago because I wanted a nice set of computer speakers. I never did anything with them because in my research, I never really figured out an easy method that seemed to make sense to me that would allow me to connect them to my computer USB port. I was led to believe I needed a USB DAC? but I was not even entirely sure if that was the correct way to go about it ? or if I needed a full on mixer ? I was pretty puzzled.
You can use a laptop power supply there 20v or any power tool battery wich is also 20v for a power supply . If your looking for a decent mini amp board the tda 3116 and 3118 amp boards sound good and put out a decent amount of power out both run off DC up to 24v. Both amp models are also available in mini 2.1 plate amplifier if your looking to build a mini power subwoofer and a set of book shelfs. There also blue tooth models. The amp boards are 5-10$ the plate amplifier about 30$.💯🎶🎵🌲☃️❄️😉🫡✌️
