@@mediocreman2 yea i’ve got some EQ settings figured out so it’s all balanced now but sometimes i like to use them for their intended purpose, shaking my head 😂
Would be useful for in dash subs in little custom boxes! Or in the door cards in separate little bass boxes so as much as it's not a 12" sub on the rear parcel shelf or in a boot sub box it could definitely be useful up front with a dedicated crossover to limit frequencies and make a mid sub instead of just a normal midrange driver..
Ooooooo I love that this exists. I have a cheap tiny sub for my desk speakers that does a decent job adding some balance, but leaves something to be desired. I think I’ll grab one or two of these to make a smaller enclosure with hopefully a big improvement in sound
I imagine youd be better off running some 3-4" full range speakers probably get about the same amount of bass out of it...However... I was wondering how high they can play? could it be used as a mid? like throw 1 of these in with a tweeter for a BT speaker... so not worth the money haha
You need to check out the tang band units. Equal abilities but less depth and use neo magnets. They make 2inch, 3, 4 and 5 inch units. Also some prebuilt enclosures employing passive radiators
Been waiting a long time for a product like this. I’m going to get 4 and build a custom box for the back of my rc car. It’s an army 8x8 made with clodbuster parts, and I’m going to use the speakers to make the engine sound. An 8 wheel drive monster truck with solid axles, and independent battery and driver for its 40w rms sound system. Not a bad way to spend $1,000
This could make a killer garage/shop set up. Make a box for this and two 5-1-4" two-ways and a cheap head unit that has a rear channel crossover and it would look hilarious and awesome at the same time.
Thanks for sharing, seen this on big jeff the other day and was curious how it actually did. If you could set it up right I would make an awesome conversation piece for the dash of your vehicle 😂
dayton audios 2 inch subs are just as loud and bump just as good. Made my daughter a custom made Bluetooth speaker box out of a cherry wood cigar box with 2 2.5 inch full ranges and a 2 inch passive woofer shit bumps and did it all for under 100.
I like the new bronco quite a bit. Im even a domestic vehicle convert as of a couple years ago from a euro snob, when i bought a 400hp 2020 explorer st that i love. That said, pretty sure id take the MB G class over the bronco or ST.. But I would probably take a trackhawk or a hellcat durango over the merc, though. The status symbol and build quality are higher, almost definitely, but the g63 amg is down 123hp minimum from the jeep, and it costs like 100k more for the merc. Just keep that RC car away from Whistlin Diesel. Edit- i bet these would be good on a diy bt soeaker. Have them take the mid bass into like, the scratching the tippy top of what a regular sub hits
I find the built quality worth the price. Does anyone really need them, no, but they have the biggest cool factor in a long time. They‘re built like the real thing, like any subwoofer should be constructed like.
Haha awesome I had a 1981 Toyota starlet in 2000 and I used a bunch of old-school TV speakers in cardboard boxes and that had my car sounding good for what it was
I made one with two 2.5" from an LG surround system and a 2x25W amp, a small RC charger, external 3S LiPo and a translucent switch all mounted in a cardboard box about the size of a shoebox, mounted the components with hot glue, taped the box, turned it up and I got noise complaints 😂 Apartment life for ya 😋 I haven`t had time to actually make a proper box yet, but at least it was a good proof of concept for the components, the next one will be wood with the addition of a passive radiator (:

@@mediocreman2 yea i’ve got some EQ settings figured out so it’s all balanced now but sometimes i like to use them for their intended purpose, shaking my head 😂
I was curious if the specs on it beyond power handling. How low can it play and what is the fs on it?
Would be useful for in dash subs in little custom boxes! Or in the door cards in separate little bass boxes so as much as it's not a 12" sub on the rear parcel shelf or in a boot sub box it could definitely be useful up front with a dedicated crossover to limit frequencies and make a mid sub instead of just a normal midrange driver..
Those Are Absolutely GREAT!!!
WOAH that lil sub if fricken cool.. that's so cool all those builds in the lil cars..... Man I can't get over how cool this little sub is just WOW
coolest toy all year.
Childhood dream!
I have about 200 rc cars. Never thought about a mini sound system. Pretty damn cool!
I wonder what 20 of those would sound like in a box. I'd like to hear that.
64 of them! 8x8 square. Get about the same size as a solo x 15. 640 watts, it could be sick!
@@fortyfukinseven $ 5120 plus tax plus enclosure costs/time involved. Yikes
I was thinkin 40 of em in place of 4 dvc 10s just to see but at 3200 before tax ill stick with my 10s
Ooooooo I love that this exists. I have a cheap tiny sub for my desk speakers that does a decent job adding some balance, but leaves something to be desired.
I think I’ll grab one or two of these to make a smaller enclosure with hopefully a big improvement in sound
Could this make a portable bluetooth speaker bump?
I imagine youd be better off running some 3-4" full range speakers probably get about the same amount of bass out of it...However... I was wondering how high they can play? could it be used as a mid? like throw 1 of these in with a tweeter for a BT speaker... so not worth the money haha
Just seen these yesterday on B2 Audio site. Couldn't believe they made a sub for RC cars. Where were these when I was a kid lol.
These are also a limited supply according to their website so I would grab em while you can.
we need a real test wood box
Those little subwoofers sound amazing for how small they are amd they look amazing to. 😊😮
I wonder if this would be a great replacement for soundbar speakers for more low end I believe that there speakers are simular wattage
Yes it would work if the enclosure is done perfectly
You need to check out the tang band units. Equal abilities but less depth and use neo magnets. They make 2inch, 3, 4 and 5 inch units. Also some prebuilt enclosures employing passive radiators
Wonder how about 200 of them would sound in a car
16K why not! Lol
@@logibear453why not. Multi sub setups cost big money why not be very different
This type of woofer would be great for a desktop soundbar for the office. Deliver higher quality sound with a minimal footprint.
How cute!!
I would buy that literally to set next to my Baby Air Jordan’s I have on my bookshelf.
Bruh! This is AWESOME! The mad scientist's ideas in my head are swirling! 😂 Thank you for the vid!
Finally! Those former great amp brands have a purpose. They might struggle hitting that 10W RMS but having a Precision Power amp would look great.
Too cool! Thanks for the vid, I never knew these existed!
Giving love because this thing is cool AF. Good stuff brother.
5 mins, I love how you captured the true essence of a thumping car with a loose license plate ;-) Do they actually like how awful it is?
This could make a killer garage/shop set up. Make a box for this and two 5-1-4" two-ways and a cheap head unit that has a rear channel crossover and it would look hilarious and awesome at the same time.
Perfect driver for JBL GO 5 :)
Have you considered making a custom Bluetooth speaker using this and a passive radiator? It would be a formidable thing!
This is fantastic! ...and your own song? ...sweet!
What would you know.. out of stock. Id like to have one just to hang on the rear view mirror
Replacing my 8" with 4 of these bad boys.
What sort of battery would you need to power couple if these and some tweeters ;)
Thanks for sharing, seen this on big jeff the other day and was curious how it actually did. If you could set it up right I would make an awesome conversation piece for the dash of your vehicle 😂
These are so cool. I would like to see 100 of these un a full-size box thumping.
The Little Woofer That Could! Image a scale model next to a full size build with 20 inch subs. Then the model gets more attention!
dayton audios 2 inch subs are just as loud and bump just as good. Made my daughter a custom made Bluetooth speaker box out of a cherry wood cigar box with 2 2.5 inch full ranges and a 2 inch passive woofer shit bumps and did it all for under 100.
Already have RC trucks. One is a basher. The other is a crawler. So I’m definitely going to buy these. 🔊🔊🔊
Saw this in person and it's a cute little sub. I was honestly surprised.
Love to build a mini portable speaker, like wonderboom, anything is possible :).
Honestly, this makes more sense than building a full sized comp car. You could bring one of these to a BBQ as a novel BT speaker system!
Just looking at it makes me smile for some reason.
It would be cool if B2 would sponsor someone with like a bunch of those in some type of build
I find the built quality worth the price. Does anyone really need them, no, but they have the biggest cool factor in a long time. They‘re built like the real thing, like any subwoofer should be constructed like.
Wow it sounds exactly like the Hondas in my hood, respect
Haha awesome
I had a 1981 Toyota starlet in 2000 and I used a bunch of old-school TV speakers in cardboard boxes and that had my car sounding good for what it was
Perfect for a killer Bluetooth speaker!
That small, I'm impressed 👍🤞
Thanks for sharing this
@1:00 that looks like a Samurai, homey. crazy cool little R/C car systems. i'd never seen anything like it until now.
B 2 makes the best looking equipment not to mention they bump
I didn't notice - do they give you the Thiele-Small parameters for the enclosure design?
I made a cardboard box for a single 6x9 I had for a garage speaker 😂 it actually was decent for the garage just for some tunes 😂
I made one with two 2.5" from an LG surround system and a 2x25W amp, a small RC charger, external 3S LiPo and a translucent switch all mounted in a cardboard box about the size of a shoebox, mounted the components with hot glue, taped the box, turned it up and I got noise complaints 😂
Apartment life for ya 😋
I haven`t had time to actually make a proper box yet, but at least it was a good proof of concept for the components, the next one will be wood with the addition of a passive radiator (:
Literally came in skeptical, and am leaving in complete disbelief. Whoa...
Always appreciate the vids.
I have 5 scale rock crawlers and this would be a whole lot cooler that rear brass weights!!!
Love the beating the blockdown and pop the trunk when you got two hundred of them
