I'm planning on getting a EV6 GT Never owned a EV Can I use two 110 volts to get a 220V convertor to charge my EV faster. Instead of installing a 240V outlet which is significantly more expensive

I’ve got an Anker Solix 2kW battery plugged in as a UPS to my most critical circuit (plugged in 24/7). In the event of a short power outage, I can selectively enable select rooms. And in the event of a longer power outage, I can run an extension cable from my Ioniq 5 to the Anker Solix battery to keep things running indefinitely, and monitoring output in real time. One of the biggest challenges for running directly from the Ioniq 5 is knowing your real time usage to ensure you’re not gonna overload the V2L. Looking at the dashboard is an option, but isn’t quite as useful as viewing usage by the second on an app. So I’m pretty excited about this setup.

I have this on my Kia Stinger and I have to say it's SOO LAGGY!! Everything moves so slow. And carplay is much more choppy than on my previous 60€ dongle. It's just not smooth enough in terms of graphics and responsiveness. But the worst part is that music now sounds terrible. Both on the integrated youtube music app and on the one on my phone and played through carplay. It's distorted, regardless of volume. I have the HK system and it's normally cristal clear. When I connect my phone directly to the car, by wire, the music sounds good again. I really wanted to love this product but it's just bad. For anyone used to an iphone... this is what I imagine using an iphone 6 on the 2024 OS would feel like. Am I the only one? Is my box defective?

Tesla bootlickers is one of the saddest low testosterone cults I've witnessed. A bunch of people who were never into cars to begin with but now have some weird fascination with hating on ICE cars. Hi Jeff. I have a question. The 4.0 bootet itself up everytime I started the car and I could choose between the wifes phone or mine. (auto connect was disabled) Now the 5.0 only starts when I select it thru the bluetooth. Is it possible that the carlinkit 5.0 starts itself and then just selecr which device should be selected? Thanks in advance

Hi What is the last firmware? I have a problem with Android Auto, when I turn on the hotspot on my phone it doesn't work, so I turned on WiFi on the Ottocast and connected to my home network, in this case it doesn't work either, until I turn off WiFi on the Ottocast, Android Auto doesn't work, it shows that it is connected but there is still this screen showing that it is connecting.

Hi Jeff, Thanks for your review. I believe you are using a Kia cars, Is the CarGPS working properly? In some product lines (like Carlinkit), there is an issue where the CarGPS is not received if the device is rebooted while the car is running. Does P3 is Okay?

Thanks you Technically Jeff for your very informative reviews. Unfortunately their product keep buffering and logging me off and worse their customer service return service policy. BUYERS BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISING !!! I purchased my H1 Android 11.0 Wireless Carplay/Android Auto Adapter Smart AI Box last May 13,2024. The unit keep buffering and logging me off. After a week I decided to returned the product due to constant issue. I emailed the store for the process of returning it. They gave me a hard time to return the product even though they advertised on their website Free Shpping + Easy 30-Day Returns. I emailed back and forth the customer service just for the return process. I even had my credit card company to get involved to dispute the charged because their giving me the round around. So my credit card got involved and that’s when they started refunding the money but not in full only partial so I keep f/u with them and my credit card company keep f/u with them too to get them to totally refund the money. So on May 30th that’s when they fully refunded me for the total amount I paid too So be careful with their Easy 30-Day Returns promise. So in order to warn others I left a review on their website but because its below 5 stars they always removed it and only left the 5 stars review. So, this company is not playing fair with the customers and I think their outside the US. So just beware my fellow customers. “HEYINCAR” PLEASE BE FAIR AND DON’T REMOVE THE CUSTOMERS REVIEW YOUR VIOLATING CONSUMER PROTECTION AND COMPETITION LAWS.
