Thanks Jeff. As usual, another great video. We love ours! Easy-peasy to install and they keep a lot of road debris from damaging the paint. KIA OE mud flaps are tiny by comparison and cost almost 4x as much! We have most of BestEvMod's products. They're all terrific and highly recommended. 👌
Jeff, your front calipers in fact Do have the dreaded front black lines. As miles increases those lines turn into gouges indicating caliper to wheel contact. This is not cosmetic. And there has been no production fixes nor resolutions.
I don't see it either. Freeze frame front, rear, left side, right side. Are you saying the wheel is actually coming into contact with the caliper? That would, one, be very bad, and two, make a lot of noise. Or are you referring to the rotor? I don't see anything unusual on any of the four rotors either. 🤔
I got the same ones! Yeah the OEM ones are really short and worthless imo. The only issue I had was pushing in the pin for the rear underneath one. Let's just say it's permanently in there now with the top of the screw broken off 😂
@@TechnicallyJeff hehe. I tried the factory ones and they seemed too big to me as it was strange cause the rest of them had fitted just fine. They're still looking great after a few months. The back isn't as tight with the body vs the front ones.
I added these to my 2023 awd Wind last fall. Recently I was hearing a scraping noise and found the right front guard had ripped and was hitting the pavement. I wonder if I can get a replacement but could not find how to contact Best ev mods

Thank you! I agree, these are great and a fraction of the price of the oem ones. Very good value like many of their products.
Nice. How are liking the gt over your wind.
I love it. I like the additional features and it's definitely a lot quicker
Those are great. We have them on the wind AWD
Yeah I was very happy with them on my wind too
Got those on my GT-line since 2022. Rear ones was a PIA to install due to the thickness one pushpin has to go in to.
Yeah the rear is more challenging
How much did they affect efficiency on this and your Wind?
I didn't notice a change

Well, it's something Kia must replace on warranty, right? It's not like it's impossible to replace brakes and calipers.
Plus, can you elaborate on the lines? I don't see any black lines on the (lime) front calipers in a video still.

I'll address this in a video soon

Haha yeah the rear one on the bottom is tight. I reused the factory ones and they are definitely not going anywhere lol.

Haha interesting
