I really do feel like I belong in these places. It looks like it will be the weekend before I’m out on the bike again, weather is not being kind this week. @@MerciaMoto that's great to hear! I'm from Calcutta and frequent the hills of Darjeeling quite often, the torque comes in real handy there. Wouldn't want to sacrifice that, but would love some more performances on the highways.

@@solartechnikundanderespiel7910 thanks for commenting. Indeed, they do have the same engine and I believe the frame is different on the Guerrilla. From what I can glean RE developed them in tandem. 👍🏻

Thank you for watching and sharing your experience with the Himalayan it’s really helpful 👍🏻😀I experienced changes in the characteristics of the engines on both my Scram and Hunter as I ran them in. I think taking care when running in RE engines really does pay dividends in the long run. I’m enjoying the fact I have to pay a lot more attention to thinking about speed, revs and gear selection it feels very much how it used to be with the bikes I had as a teenager. Looking forward to getting out and racking up those miles 😀👍🏻

@@MerciaMoto i saw one at Colchester Kawasaki which is also a RE dealer,i think they have been clever by adopting a few styling traits from other manufacturers for example the headlight looks quite similar to that of the Guzzi V7 and the offset filler cap of the Bonneville T100 and T120.I also like that RE always put a front fender extender on the front mudguard.

Good evening Mike, apologies so much going on it slipped my mind. Next time I take the Hunter out I’ll try and remember to do a short review. There isn’t a great deal to say about it really. Looks wise it is indistinguishable from the original apart from the emblem. There is limited restriction in the silencer itself as you can see straight through the end can the bore is approx 15mm in diameter. Sound wise, with the baffle out it emits a throaty rumble, you can get an idea of the sound on any recent videos featuring the Hunter. With the DNA free flowing air filter and this end can the engine really does to breath better and I can perceive a slight increase in performance, which is of course my personal perception. It’s a mod I’m really glad I did and would recommend as I think it’s reasonably priced. Cheers 👍🏻

Hi Maurice, yeah Hagley Hall, is your sister a musician? There’s significantly more oomf than the Scram, it’s going to be a very lively and on bike. We shall have to see how it performs on the narrow back lanes in due course 😀 I suspect the excellent fuel economy will compensate for the reduced tank capacity. Hiya Mark, theirs always something that doesn’t quite tick all the boxes, and we all have our personal favourites don’t we? My second choice would have been the brave blue. I’m not sure how keen I am on the purple touches, yellow and purple wouldn’t be two colours I would put together 🤔 fortunately it’s subtle so I can live with it. 👍🏻😀 cheers for watching and leaving a comment 😀

Thanks for that, I remember the mark 1 Cortina now, you’re right the lights were round and the body was more angular in shape! I was thinking it was actually the Mark 2 but lots of folks have kindly pointed out it’s a Mark 4 Ford Zodiac. It really was a treat seeing it. “Ban the bomb” lights 😀 I’ve learned something new again, thank you! Thanks Chris, it is a lovely place, ideal for taking photographs of bikes 😀 I do love the appearance of the Guerrilla, I nearly went for the gold and orange colour, glad I changed my mind, I love this shade of yellow. Certainly brightens up the rides 😀👍🏻

@@MerciaMoto I think they should have left off the purple....RE went colour scheme wonky with the Meteor 650 and l think they've carried here with some schemes, it's a cracking looking simple bike with good lines.

Just added a slim luggage rack for 70$ with lean to my grey hunter . Looks great and does the job for medium trips.
