Just under halfway into this magnificent ride with yourself and Merv, Dave and I simply had to pause awhile and reflect upon the journey so far. As we have a week until your next one I really want to save the second part until later. But oh my you've most certainly found a very 'Peter Friendly' lane there. I love it.
Yes I agree with Merv. Windmills blended and indeed, like stone barns, and other buildings from our past, added to the landscape as they were 'of' that same landscape. Today we have no such aesthetic and structures are totally out of sympathy with it. Merv understands this.
However, we shall enjoy the continuing journey later this week and enjoy this wonderful lane you've found. 🤗

Thank you Peter bit of a long one this but I decided it couldn’t really be cut. It’s without date a Lanes Explorer Lane. It has been on my to do list for about 10 years. Hope you enjoy the second half 😀👍🏻

Well Dave that was a real gem of a ride and that diversion just brilliant. Isn't it amazing that these lanes are in better condition than many of our more major roads yet really only serve a handful of people. It was even better returning as the views down to the stream seemed more open somehow. And the Beeline didn't get tooo upset either.
I had a look at the os map of the route and it certainly is full of interest. Many thanks for this one - loved it 👍

Hello Peter, I had a feeling you would enjoy this particular ride. I love riding through woodlands, there’s something just so atmospheric about them. Yeah the Beeline performed well on this ride. There will be a couple more videos from that particular days riding, it ended up being quite special again. 👌🏻 thanks for leaving such thoughtful and inspiring comments 👍🏻😀

What an awesome ride out, you are the master of North Wales for sure. I've driven past Mallwyd many times and it's always interesting because it's where the roads and hills really start feeling different to Mid Wales. Have you got a one minute version? 🤪

“Master of North Wales” is that
Like Lord of Snowdonia 🤔 😂 Thank you Glyn, a marvellous compliment 🙏🏼😀 Yeah I also think of Mallwyd as the gateway to the hills and mountains. For years I was in awe of the view heading up towards Dynas Mawddwy in fact I still am. I’m going to do a one minute version of one of my videos at some stage and I’ll dedicate it to you! 😀👍🏻 cheers for watching and leaving a comment 🍻😀

hi Dave.. sorry for being late with a comment. Bit of trouble getting a decent net speed. I have a bit of a brain . I am on the scale and if I cannot watch in full resolution my brain wont let me enjoy.. any way the blokes had the cover off the box and sorted it. haha. I have a little green Nessy tour mascot from our 2021 nc500. he is tucked into the corner of the windscreen . these strimmer routes bloody perfect on Stan.. the greens had me jealous again .. I know yu are editing the Irish tour now so the editors colourist eye will appreciate these practice renders. I know you use the standard rec 709 4k @50 H264 on the A4 so you wont go far wrong with the tones. My Guinness are draught in a can waiting in the fridge.. oh and a free bit of info . The instas only record at 80k bit rate against the DJI actions 120k bit rate. thats why you can see the leaves on the trees when you edit the forwards A CAM footage in, but the selfie footage on the insta B cam makes the trees look like something van Gough dun with a pallet knife.. Keep them blues and greens coming Dave. 🤓📽🎬🎧❤‍🩹💯

No need to apologise Dave, it’s a privilege having you supporting the channel. It’s a trade off in quality when I cut in the Insta 360 footage which is why I don’t include it as often as I’d like. I’ve bought a set of ND filters for the Action 4 so that I can slow the shutter speed and try and capture some motion blur, just need to get around to trying them out. 😀 Ireland videos probably won’t appear before the end of the year as I’ve got a big backlog of Wales videos and I haven’t even made a start on the Norfolk tour videos! To further delay things I’ve been given a three line whip to start some DIY works that I keep delaying! 😂 lots of videos to come mate 👍🏻😀

@@MerciaMoto absolutely vDave.. your better half gives you so much room to invest for us tubers to enjoy your adventures, so when she sits you down and says,, here's the list . well out come the paint brushes and the yes my dear. :)))) ND is a proper skill set.. fixing the ISO correctly so that the camera does not use it for correct exp and instead uses the shutter speed.. I would say experiment with motion blur in post first.. not sure where you find it in cyberlink. Maybe in filters. Its one of those sweet little touches that gives a sense of speed. you can also experiment with rock steady off relying on your natural neck gimbal and go full wide angle. Then the peripheral image definition loss of the a4 does give sweet results.. :)) keep them greens and blues cumin Dave and them edge blured greens :))))))) the Guinness will come out for the cake stand :) Good excuse to try an Irish whisky later in the year for the WAWay ..😁😁😁😁🤣🤣🤣😋😋
