Well, at least it looks like the battery and the terminals are accessible on the Guerrilla. Looks a fair bit easier than the Himalayan 411 and the Meteor. This is the first job I do with any bike, so good to see that it should be straightforward ! Cheers Dave, Garry
Makes a nice change to have easy access to the battery, some bikes can be a right pain. Your video is sure to be of help, especially the importance of disconnecting the negative first and reconnecting last! Am I old fashioned to still use Vaseline on the terminals🤔
Cheers Paul, it certainly is a lot easier access to the battery on this bike, 10/10 to RE. Yeah disconnection and reconnection sequence is very important and overlooked at times I’m sure. It can’t do any harm to add some moisture ingress protection to battery terminations, even modern ones. Can you believe there isn’t any Vaseline in our house 😂😂👍🏻
@@Lanes-Explorer5733 thanks Peter. It is such a simple thing to do I was doubting whether it was worth making, but maybe someone folks may find it useful 🙂👍🏻
@@MerciaMoto Things we may feel are easy to do, very often aren't so straightforward for others so it's always worth making a tutorial I think. Have you decided on Gus as the name? I must have missed the Naming Ceremony 🍵
@@ianhughesroyalenfield thanks Ian. Just over 200 miles done now, did 90 of em last Thursday evening, weather forecast was dry, but can now confirm the bike handles really well in the wet! 😂 I have first service booked for 27th September. Now that I’ve gotten to know the bike I’m loving it more and more and can’t wait to get out and ride it. I think getting the rear suspension set up right is important. I softened mine by 3 stops following my initial ride and it does handle much better now for me, feels really planted in the bends. 👍🏻🙂

@@Lanes-Explorer5733 yeah, going with Gus, decided on it near the end of my birthday ride out video 😀👍🏻
@@MerciaMoto that's what comes of watching the ever changing landscape and not paying attention to what you're telling us 😂
Good choice - I like it 👍
@@Lanes-Explorer5733 thanks Peter, keep looking at the landscapes, some of the nonsense I talk is best ignored 😂😂 great to hear you like the name 😀👍🏻
Very tidy install Dave
Thanks Mick, I’ve still got those sparky skills 😀👍🏻
Good stuff!
Thank you 👍🏻
Morning Dave, tidy job 😊. How is the running in going ?

It's funny, because you exchanged the scram for the guerrilla but I am thinking about the scram at the moment
Hi Stefan, the Scram is a marvellous bike, I loved mine a had lots of fun with it. 😀👍🏻
