In my younger days I definitely would have given this a try. Not in front of a crowd, too shy. But with a couple of buddies, and a couple of beers... hell yeah.
That guy at 18:47 was all sorta ANGRY 🤔😡 I have NO idea why......He did great, he had the chance in LIFE to even try it & be out riding & competing there.......When 100% of the others have FAILED, he STILL did good AND had the opportunity to just try & do it !!!! Wish I could........STILL........I've been riding dirt bikes, quads and 4x4's all my life........Now at 54 y/o, & over the years, 25 broken & healed bones later, countless stitches........I can't..........Still wish I could........🤔☹😉

Some people don't realize how steep this hill really is. We have one here in Northern California which is similar and I can't get more than a quarter the way up on a stock swingarm and MX Dunlop rear tire. These Hill climbing beasts are insane and so are these guys.
@@mje19D😂😂😂 I’m sure he’s aware of that - the point is it would be just as if not more fun to watch them descend (obviously the same route) as opposed to just the ascent. Just a rare blonde moment I’m going to assume?
These videos amaze me... These dudes have very decked out bikes, lavish uniforms, helmets, etc... Clearly - they think this is a monumental undertaking "achievement" and they appear to be well prepared... Then, half of these people don't even get a third of the way up the hill... It's like preparing / training for a marathon, getting the most expensive running attire (shoes, shorts, etc); and then completing the arduous run in 17 hours...
Most viewers will not appreciate the insanity of this; 1000cc++ high power output a rear tire monster metal spikes for grip and a very VERY STEEP hill!!!! they are NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!
The Arette Hill Climb is the ultimate test of skill and determination for dirt bike racers! This video showcases the sheer intensity and adrenaline of tackling an impossible hill ascent. With every twist and turn, riders push the limits of their bikes and their own abilities, navigating treacherous terrain with precision and daring. The competition is fierce, but the camaraderie among riders is palpable as they cheer each other on in the face of daunting challenges. The Arette Hill Climb is a true testament to the spirit of off-road racing, where the impossible becomes possible with skill, determination, and a whole lot of horsepower!

@@scotttod6954 I hear you brother,I've destroyed my collar bone trying to jump a concrete barrier on a mountain bike that was towed by a vehicle up to 50mph before I let go thinking I would clear the barrier.Ended up clipping the top of the barrier with front tire which catapulted me head first straight down on to the pavement.Fractured my neck, had to get my ear sewn back on,lost the hair on the side of my head, road rash, and third degree separation of collar bone. The guy 4:05 in was so good on the throttle and has the best skill. Even at the end , he knew he couldn't gas it and didnt
💪💪🏍🏍
love the sound of the bikes, the balls it takes to go full vertical no regret, the engineering of the machines, this is a beautiful sport!
🤤
Sport? These guys are bonkers, so are the marshals 😜
thoses guys are really the definition of "full send" to have no regrets
keep it up guys!
That dude's rear tire tearing itself apart at 7:00 is wild
I was scared for dude, I kept thinking a chunk was gonna hit him …. He was lucky !
7:16 When he stopped, the "hands on the helmet" reaction transcends language and culture.
lmfao seeing all that shit flying off the bike was quite amusing! :P
Great video. Awesome shots with lots of non-stop action! I like to hear the bikes instead of music too. Well done.

Man you have to be nuts to do this but man is it fun to watch.
That back flip off the bike @2:40 was smooth!
That was FMX worthy, lol.

This is waaayyy more enjoyable to watch than MotoGP
This is great training for those living in and around the Alps, many of whom have to face hills like this on their daily commute.
your ability to connect with your audience is phenomenal!

Only recently discovered this sport. I LOVE IT!!!!!!👌
Love watching these guys going for the animal award of making it to the top.

seems the bike did not like the jump and switched to neutral and thats why he lost all power
Get a nice enduro bike or an adventure bike and do scenic trails. Enduro riding is very fun and enjoyable.

Lol!

Barefoot while it was snowing!
In those days it was uphill both ways also.
U ever heard they had to swim across the river to get to school , true story
It's fun watching them go up the hill, but I'd really like to see the footage of when all these guys ride back down.
They don't go down in the same spot.

They usually don't. A sky crane takes their bikes back down. Unless they make it

i think my postman on an old tomos automatik would do this anytime if he had to deliver a letter :D good work guys.
C'est vachement additif ce truc ! J'ai voulu regarder jusqu'à la fin pour voir si y'en avait un qui allait jusqu'en haut !

It is interesting that #131 sounded the most like an angry small dog and also was the one that did the most damage to itself.

These bikes don’t push themselves up the terrain….They use a rocket motor of shredded dirt!😂

Its kinda like motorized bull riding lol They dig thin trenches with on the off season.

Fun Fact:
You try to climb only with your motorcycle boots and helmet, you'll reach the very top of the hill earlier.
