When I the used the makar to achieve negative fuel use I had to use 2 - 3 medium turbines with 2-4 small turbines that was running with the small basic shield basic warp and 4 large thrusters and rest mediums watching my power usage….. before I got tagged from that surprise zerox cruiser from behind also had one basic cpu to …. I had to remove all the top sentry turrets I kept the bottom ones and used only the four pod chain guns.

That problem you have with constructor templates and missing icons is something I've had for about 8 months. The constructor power switch also disappears as well. Kinda nice to know it's not just me.

As far as the ship marker goes.. go into the registry and set the 'show on galaxy hud' for the ship. Don't know if it's a base game flaw or RE flaw but you need to reset it each time you use the ship, other wise it will indicate you're several AU or LY away.

Perhaps an UC CV for moving/carrying resources early game, on planet. I used to have a BP like that, basically just cargo extenders as hull, fuel tank, generator, thrust, pilot seat, one glass pane as windshield, one landing gear, core and detector. Don't even bother sealing for o2, because the tank is more cobalt. You get radiated on entry/exit, so perhaps you can improve on my very basic (pre-RE2) design.

Why do you may need Advanced Warp Drive on mining module? Usually you only need to warp inside a solar system and between solar system you going to travel with carrier

The dropping down thing is purely a multiplayer/co-op bug. Lord knows why. In solo play it will not do that. Make sure you have a passenger seat at the base if you want to work on all your vessels when keeping it afloat. For reasons only the mighty folks at Eleon Game Studios might know, or maybe even they don't, getting in the passenger seat fixes that. Might be tricky to time it, so make sure you have it as high as possible to give yourself some time to get in the passenger seat. And I'm sorry to say, haha. 100 hours will sadly not teach you all the ropes of the survival game. I've got 10 times that amount and I still often learn new tricks by watching the more veteran players. Even my numbers are still rookie numbers. 😂😂😂

How do ESG server work "longterm" I imagine its a questions of days before most veins are hollowed out on strating worlds ? Is there a contengency on that.

Zirax Tower destroyed my auger sv 😢 and there only left fuel tanks, core and something from back of the sv, any starter battle sv suggestions to deal with Zirax ?

I would explore the planet more, I would expect any trees to be closer to the poles. But any POI that has 'wooden' structural elements would yield planks and plant fiber in a Deconstructor. And you dropped 700 plant fiber into the fridge.. And make sure you turn the thrusters off after you add them ... they are on by default (another annoying UI feature).

easiest way for you is to just jump around starter system looting the derelic poi's all can be cored, take some salvage cores and you can use the p-menu to make sure you get all the boxes and mark any stuff you want to salvage, should take no time to get the makar into space, great to see you giving the game a proper playthrough, it gets easier once you get used to the buggy systems, lol

That starter hover vessel is using the green crappy hover engines. They do not do well on water. Next time get the blue ones they are much better when on water.

2:50 not much loot in abandoned bunker???? I strongly disagree. It is packed with loot. Two imperial turrets are not as amazing as they were when you could get them operational in RE1 but they alone worth a LOT early on.

A few of things. T2 weapons and tools will make your life a lot better. You may have to make a tree run by warping to another planet with the SV. I recommend the temperate or snow planet. Lastly by building the thrusters your reducing the amount of weight the makar has to lift, however you will still need quite a few to get her off the ground, so keep checking stats and CPU

1:11:18 that door and the table can be destroyed, cutting some corners in clearing the bunker, btw.

51:25 there is no reason to go into storage area with those big imperial turrets until after you get the core destroyed. I believe they offer an alternative route but I never go there.

The cacti do not give wood J. They give alien thorns. If you watch what displays on the left side of your screen while mining or farming you will see what your getting and it will also keep you from screwing up your faction rep cause that will display as well. Also advanced weapons last a lot longer than the level 1's. If you build yourself a level 2 multitool it will last much longer. The same thing applies to advanced assault rifles or combat shotguns. You will find more trees on high ground and around water on those desert planet types. The reason you are using so much power is you are running too many things on your ship. You are trying too hard to rush through everything. If you are going to do that you will need to make a lot of fuel. You should stop everything else before you stop making the fuel. If you can make stuff on a small constructor use them for less fuel consumption.

You really need to sort out everything. You have materials spread out of all boxes. And make yourself Advanced Multitool! You should make it as fast as you can.

It's cool that you liked my ship (Basilisk), yes, you're right, it focuses on battles, I optimized the CPU core 9 as much as possible, up to core 7 is possible, but I thought it looked much better this way. Artemis helped me with great tips for improvements. It's getting to that point that I need to recycle the Scarab SCM to get a miner with a warp drive. I need to open this one up to see how it's put together. SV warp drives are very large. I don't see how it fits. Containers must all be around the exterior of this miner.

Turbine gives negative power, so it comes off your consumption. check power when your not using constructors it should show a negative power consumption. Looking at my construction pod, when nothing is constructing it sits as -9.56KW

The thruster components are a Sales commodity trade goods.

Going over CPU by 263? lol, it's fine. At worst, you use a tiny bit more fuel, most likely it won't even matter. Did you not start on Roggery? How could you not have more trees than you should need? Did you notice cacti do not give you wood or fiber?

I've been using Ente's marauder in RE2 for a couple of weeks now and it is great for taking out Zirax depots, bases and towers. It fits inside the Stellar Endeavor nicely.

the advantage of a cargo drone is when the season is artificially short, like 3 months. . It allows you to enjoy the end game before the season wipe. This will be a more inviting option the more the devs slow down progress in the game and the less players are able to reach the end game in x amount of time.

next step, slap cv mining drills on the makar, to speed up progress toward the plutus.

I can't remember if the Beta System has a 'Dead' planet.. if it does then finding and salvaging the 'Shuttle', assuming they've not nerfed it too much, and you can get to it before anyone else after reset, would solve a lot of resource issues. Also it has, or did on RE1, stacks of steel growplots, but carrying them in the miner might be an issue. There are a few POIs that should have one or two, destroyed shelter, old farm, and a couple of others .. try Beta II or explore a bit more of the planet.. So the Janus has 18 plots.. I have 2 wheat, 2 stimulant, 1 fruit, 1 mushroom, 2 plant fibre, 1 protein (really need 4 or 5), 3 tomato, 2 herbal leaf, 2 spice, 1berries, plus 1 I can't remember. 21 plots would be more useful, extra protein, and a couple of pentaxid.
