- Starting a new Anvil Server Reforged Eden 2 playthru with Xcaliber on a swamp planet at night with no armor. lol We split up for a bit and do our things and then join up after to hit a much needed copper deposit.

I know this is late, have a few hrs.' of catching up to go. you died because you made no bandages when you could have made over 100 with the plant stuff you had, smh don't get why you kept making the energy bars instead, and one not even eating them. It's like your minimaxing when you don't have to.
Was fun stumbling upon you haha! You saved me from that swamp titan, i got stuck on a plant when backing up and killed it just in time thanks to your damage. Also funny when you later stumbled upon my lil starter hv. Unfortunately said hv has a bit of a hole in it as i overloaded the generator with a second constructor 😅
Love the videos Jeff, you could do with upping your volume as you are very quiet. Also when putting things in the factory and your bar changes, click on the little radar icon above the little man icon on the left of the task bar.

The light suit is cheap to make and can be made in the portable constructor. And you can equip it without the locker. I focus on it like making a shotgun.
Those new icons will take some getting used to.
Those Energy Bars should never leave your suit constructor. In the suit they will never spoil and don't take up space on the toolbar. It does mean you lose a construction space in the suit but its an emergency constructor any way.
They seem to fill up at 8 per slot and only 2 slots in the suit constructor. So at a maximum you can only hold 16 there. I had so much plant protein I could not make any more bars unless I took them out of the suit. I agree, keeping them there is a good idea thou. I will say, maybe with a combination of the server settings and lots of food to be had on the planet, I think this is the first time I played that food really was not an issue at least starting out. I am not complaining. lol And thanks again!
The green hover engines have never worked well on the water. I'm certain at one time the game told you that.
Also, if you cannot find copper, you should probably go to another biome rather than run around in the same circle for an hour. Roggery has copper, usually on the shorelines.
Thing is he was a focused on his UC HV that for a few rss more he could have made an micro SV and fly above it all. I never make HVs except for Deforestation purposes. If a tree cutting SV was an available option HVs would become obsolete as SVs are far superior to HVs in every aspect in RE.
@@GeryonM I agree. The whole point of this HV was something I could spawn in super early and use for transportation. I really need to see what could be built as an SV to do the same purpose. I totally agree it would be a much better way to get around over an HV. I do think they may need more materials or a higher player unlock level, but to be honest I don't really know with RE2. I think I will mess around for a bit in creative and see what can be done. And thanks again!
When you couldn't find copper you could have just gone to the crashed ship, plenty of resources there, and not too far
If he got there early enough there are 3 engines full of copper.
My issue was I was kind of planted in the area and could not carry everything in the portable constructor or put it in the factory. Once I got the cheap HV spawned I was going to pack up and explore to find deposits. This did happen, it just took a lot longer than I though. As it is, once I went farther out, copper was found pretty easy and no longer an issue. I had expected to find enough copper in the close area for 60-70 ingots pretty quick but just didn't find it. At the same time I didn't want to go to far from where I was until I spawned in the cheap scararb HV and could pack up and move and grab everything. So, kind of had a catch 22. I didn't have enough copper to spawn the HV and move but needed to move to find copper. lol Well, anyway it still got done just took way longer than expected. And thanks again!
That starter hover vessel is using the green crappy hover engines. They do not do well on water. Next time get the blue ones they are much better when on water.
How do ESG server work "longterm" I imagine its a questions of days before most veins are hollowed out on strating worlds ? Is there a contengency on that.
I don’t understand why you and the person you’re teaming up with are not next to each other. Also. Your first priority is to make a camp. Then venture out to get resources.
On a place like this i wouldn't hunt for copper, i would just make it out of stone.
I do wonder why neither of you tried yo make the hover bike though. Its a lot cheaper than the HVs your trying to make.
I started doing that but also not much stone in the area. The hover bike idea actually sounds like a good plan. I need to check into that. And thanks again!
