I found him through Avorion and have a good bit of nostalgia for the most recent avorion series, but yeah I gotta agree.
I liked that start with the ship blowing up, but I think he did some fancy trickery to make that happen 🤔 😉

Obviously, outside of them both being in space, Starfield and Empyrion are not anywhere the same game. That said, Starfields heavy use of load screens has really made me appreciate Empyrion's almost seemless transition between planets and space, so I'm glad to see it back.

Honestly spanj you are the reason I have played emperion galactic… I am more of a lone wolf player and I came from the huge freelancer modded community discovery back in the day… sadly that has dissipated. I have enjoyed all your content that has opened the doors to the other great community builders and leaders in this game. Thanks for the awsome content, even though I can’t afford the patron stuff and support you on a fiscal level, I do what I can with thumbs up and links to your page…. Keep it up man this community is amazing

i think the POI you had in mind is the one that is called something like submerged tanks if i remember it correctly.
If I think of Empyrian I instantly think of Spanj. I never understood why almost no one has heard of empyrion. It was way ahead of its time but still holds its own. If only more people knew about it.

I always like to watch Spanj take on harder starts. It is helpful to see how a pro does it.
Masperon is my favorite starting planet, fast leveling.

Spanj - in starter situations like that where you need to push to a level to unlock something - harvest those big skeletons for 50-100XP each with no resource burden.
Remember too, the small bottles of water can be converted into emergency oxygen (triple bottles with 35 O2 in them).

You should find a lake and go swimming for plant protein. Easiest way to find it by looking at the map, assuming the lakes are deep enough.

Good to see you playing EGS again! Loved that intro, you had me fooled (for a moment at least)! I agree about the sound design, it is laughable. I've been making fun of the wolf sounds for years now...come on, Eleon...LESS IS MORE. A few animal sounds here and there would add tons, but the current LAYERS of animal noises is ridiculous!

im thinking of doing the whole trucker thing too. probably not gonna go for the antimatter warp drive and stuff tho as a solo player. ill just build a big tug with as much thrust as 2.1mil cpu can allow. the LAST time i tried to do that in RE, it turned out you could only buy like 2 of the 320k packages at a time anyway so a big boat was pointless.

Looks like you should make some bare bones minimum starter vehicles for hard starts.
The thing that *REALLY* bugs me about the ambient sound is that it is anchored on the player, *NOT* in the world, so it rotates as you do. Very immersion-breaking.

You are confusing The Old Tank PoI with the Submerged Tank PoI, which has the 3 white containers in it
What I took from this video is: Do not be like Spanj Senpai and start on a radioactive planet where overseers roam free 🤣🤣🤣 I'll be looking forward to the episodes to come. Also do you have any tutorials explaining aux and quantum cores? As a SE player with just over 700 total hours since 2020 in Empyrion I don't know anything about those

That is the scenario, Ravien just named this update the War & industry update, but its still RE 1.10
On the one talon mission where you have to defend the ziggaurat the talon didn't fight back someone said something about a seperate Eden faction config file but I don't know if changing it will ruin my game help
