How did I not see this video before today?!?! Awesome vinyl pick-ups. I think you were warned about the black hole of vinyl collecting and look at you go. 😂😂😂 I wrote down some you mentioned so I can check them out. That's worth it and then some. I love The Fifth Element. I hadn't seen it in years and someone told me to check out the 4K- amazing. I really like The Hunt For Red October as well and you can never go wrong with more Harrison Ford in the collection. Really great stuff here, friend. Enjoy your pick-ups. 😊

Jon, I’m a huge fan of The Towering Inferno, Paul Newman and Steve McQueen are great in it. I recently upgraded my Robin Hood MIT DVD a couple weeks ago and have that same Blu Ray and I still enjoy it.

NYPD Blue is great I actually like season 2 better then one, I have season 2 and the last 4 seasons on dvd and now need to find the stuff in the middle, finding them in the wild is sooooooo hard to do. I may have to ebay em.

Love the haul, wish I could find finds like that ... but I had a good pawn shop day today.... all new sealed, 5 blu's Kung Fu Panda 4, Dream Scenario, Digimon Adv. 02, Madame Web and Godzilla - Kong New Empire and 1 dvd set Superman and Lois season 3. All for $15 dollars. So nice.

Great haul, Jon! Love when I can find some flips when I’m thrifting or at garage sales. I’m always on the lookout, it just tends to a bit harder to come by when I want to keep most of the cool ones, hahaha! But I’ve been doing the eBay thing for a couple years now and it’s definitely helped fund more for the collection, which is what I love. Fantastic haul! Thanks for sharing.

Gotta count all the time you are putting in with researching, driving, buying the movies, and then selling the movies (listing and packing up). At lets say $20 an hour, how much did you spend then? Years ago I snagged the Jack Ryan 4k set with all the movies and digital codes for like $30 on Amazon and sold each code 2-3x which you could do back then and got the set for free plus made money. I did stuff like that quite consistently back then when codes could be sold multiple times. Going to yard sales and thrift stores tends to be quite a bit of time to put in to get a deal on mostly common titles based on my experience. Might work for some people but will be a waste of time for the majority I would say. Better off working and making a decent paycheck and buying movies during boutique sales and getting nice editions for affordable prices while sitting at your computer. Not driving all over the place spending time, gas, mileage on your vehicle.

Hi. I have that Errol Flynn set also. And yes, those Stewart ones were from a collection set, I have the full set. I also have that How the West Was Won digibook. Although you don’t seem interested in keeping it, it is a brilliant edition and really shows off the “smilebox” cinerama format well, the other great one in that format being The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm. The restoration work they did on both films is fantastic.

Hey Jon. I love that you did a Batman ranking. I'm pretty sure he's my favorite comic book hero/character. I really need to sit and think about where I would rank my films and I need to watch the Snyder Cut. What a crime against film that I haven't watched it yet. 😂😂 I have to say my favorite thing about the Lego Batman is what a tool Batman is; he's just so not nice and it's hilarious. I love the Lego movies. I have to say that I really enjoyed The Batman way more than I expected. I really wasn't sold on Pattinson as Batman but he was really good. Way better than I thought he'd be. I've always loved Batman and i think my biggest issue with the movies is that they're just all over the place. No consistent story line, all different actors as Batman, etc. Besides the Nolan trilogy, it feels like we're constantly staring over and it drives me crazy. I'd love to see someone come in and just put together a nice franchise collection with one Batman, Robin and the villains and build the world around Gotham. Really enjoyed this video and now I'll be spending July 4th watching all my Batman movies. 😂😂😂

I actually prefer Returns over the original. I feel like you can tell it’s a Burton film and I thought it was fun. Batman Begins is actually my personal favourite!

You talked me into trying out Gary Clark Jr, lol. Added that album to my Apple Music library. I’ll let you know what I think! But awesome haul. I’m actually at the point where I’m seriously considering selling off my entire record collection and player. As much as I love the IDEA of it all, and the artwork and everything else about it…I just find that I quite literally never put on a record. The only way I really listen to music anymore is digitally via Apple Music, which is so lame considering my love for physical media. But, I can’t collect everything and I think my records might be the first to go. What’ll likely happen, though, is I’ll keep my player and just thin down the collection to a handful of essentials, that way I don’t have to spend the money on a new player when the bug bites again in the future, lol. That doesn’t affect my love for watching your hauls, though! These are awesome additions. Thanks for sharing!

Amazing haul. I have that Ed sheerin vinyl but haven't listen to it yet. I love John Denver since I was a young lad That soundgarden box set is amazing. I have it and the quality and sounds so good. The bluray looks great it's one I listen to alot .

Jon, I like that you say, "friends," to those watching :) I didn't like Bottle Rocket much the first time I watched it but a handful of years ago I watch it again and it shot up from the bottom of my list of Wes Anderson ranked. It's still maybe 4 or 5 but no longer the last. La Poison is pronounced pretty close to what you're saying. I would make sure your "la" does sound like lah not luh, and the s in poison does sound like a z. If it sounded more like an s that would be poisson, meaning fish. I'll also add that La Haine is pronounced "la ehn." Like saying the letter n with a little more air to it in the beginning. But I rarely hear anyone pronounce it correctly. I'm at least getting Dogfight, Bound, and To Die For. But there are some Kino titles I want so idk if I'll get much more than that for Criterions.

Thank you for the recommendations! I was planning to sit out this sale to save a few bucks. But after hearing you talk about Godzilla, I may have to pick that one up. I think you will love The Killing and also the co-feature, Killer's Kiss. My last Criterion purchase was Peeping Tom (1960), which I picked up during a recent 30% off sale. Highly recommended!
