How can you invent something you don't do what rap song did DJ Kool Herc do?
You should talk about who killed Peter ivers he was the host of new wave theater who was murdered in 83 and or Dave insurgent of Reagan youth
Double Nickels on the Dime is fantastic.
!Biohazard!
Idk anything about the descendants but bravo! Great story.
This is a great video, man. Good work checking everything you could've, really good stuff
Thank you! It was a fun one to work on
Cough cold got me 😭
AHHHHHHHH 😡 me wanted answerrr!! 😭
Rockets Redglare = Michael. Michael is his birthname. Enjoyed this episode!!!
Fun fact: Despite numerous rumors that I've heard...and started, Ian Mackaye did not in fact write and perform the theme song for the Golden Girls ...sorry for any confusion. Lol
Rakim by far was the best.....they know in heaven and hell....
The fact that all the money had gone and sid being passed out on 30 tuianol is suspicious as fuck! A guy called rockets reglare (he’s in the movie big with Tom hanks) he was also thier drug dealer and confessed to doing it! Also neon Leon knows who did it by all accounts too! He’s said it’s not sid though.
Could you do the history of Marc Bolan and how he pioneered glam rock please? He inspired so many great artists, even punk and new wave
He’s on the list!
The Chelsea at that time had the kind of clientele who could take thirty pills. I’m going to assume someone there could sleep through a murder.
Whats with the dates on these photos? Should be in the 70s, not the 50s.
@@rosecity_chris ….you mean their birth dates? You think they were born in the 70s?
Well the money went missing and the knife cleaned so it was a robbery which ended up with a stabbing, so she died as a result. Wasn't originally a homicide but it ended up as so. Even if we identified the killer, they probably would be dead anyway. Lydon puts it simply: "Smack happened" perfect.
Regardless of his public persona, Sid was not a tough guy or a bad ass. He was mostly a young quiet guy, the type that are attracted to H and thought he had to live up to the Sex Pistols image. He was so out of it 90% of the time and especially the night she died I dont think he was capable of doing it. It also takes a certain type of person (psychopath) to stab a unarmed, non threatening, high as a kite, almost naked 100 lb female. There are many people that point to a guy/dealer going in their room and its said they didn't like dealing with Nancy but Sid was cool. I could easily see her coming up short or owing a dealer, then mouthing off acting like she's a celebrity, and the dealer had enough & just snapped. Sid was probably nodded out the whole time till the NYPD woke him up about the murder. He was still all nodded out when they had him at the station questioning him. The NYPD could have cared less about another junky death back in those days.
MC5, The Kinks, Stooges, The Rolling Stones, Dylan... All of early Rock was just punk rock before punk rock was Punk Rock.
His mum got sum crap H when he got out so he asked a so called mate went and got sum stronger stuff
Imagine not knowing who the Sex Pistols were.
Seriously, I want to know your thoughts. I honestly don’t think Sid knowingly killed Nancy or even if he did at all. I’m just saying, as a women, would I allow other people in the room to party w/ us when I am in just my underwear? I don’t think so.
That’s fair, but I think Nancy was way more open about that kinda stuff than the average person might be
@ that may be possible. I really don’t think either of them would’ve done such a thing in the right state of mind. So tragic.
To be totally honest with all you guys over the last few years I’ve had quite a few comments asking me if my name is Mr Fugazi because I like the band Fugazi, and I’m not gonna bullshit you all and say yeah when the true answer is no, and that’s the only way that I ever heard about this band Fugazi which being 62 years old I’m totally surprised that I didn’t know about this band to be honest with you all, the reason my name is Mr Fugazi is because since I was 15 years old I have researched Organised Crime in America from the beginning and in the movie Donnie Brasco which is movie about a FBI undercover agent infiltrated one of the 5 families in New York, the Bonanno family and Johnny Depp played the agent and Al Pacino played a gangster and if any of you haven’t seen the movie I strongly recommend it because it’s a great movie but anyway for a giggle my son decided to change my name to Mr Fugazi because in the opening scene in the movie Al Pacino character went to the agent and asked him if he get rid of a very expensive diamond ring and the agent said, do you have a girlfriend and Pacino said yes so Depp said, then give it to your girlfriend if you want to be a dumski because it’s a Fugazi (fake), I hated it at first but, a few guys that have mob podcasts have said on a few occasions that they really love the name so over the years it’s grown on me plus because, of that name I’ve got to learn about a great band that I’m surprised that I didn’t know about years ago but, I’m really glad I know about them now and thank you for doing this video buddy because I understand now why they were so popular back in the day.
I thought Dustin diamond passed away
That guy sucks
What guys that mate?
Walk like a camel
Saw them at the Farm in SF '86 truly the best Punk Band ever.. Legends in the punk world and really are considered the greatest Hardcore band ever!
Todd McFarlanes wife is his manager so....
There were two big musical acts that my dad raised my brother and I on, those were Weird Al Yankovic, And DEVO. to the broader pop-culture sphere, DEVO is regarded as a one-hit-wonder for "Whip It", but they were always so much more than that to me. I grew up watching a VHS of DEVO's videos, I grew up primarily knowing "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" as a DEVO song first and foremost.
Another thought….she was found stabbed in her bra + underwear, as a women, I wouldn’t feel comfortable being in that state, except in front with of my partner.
I’ve watched a few docs on this. You actually presented a couple of things I hadn’t heard. I would still love to know the truth 🤔
Cool! Yeah, it’s sad but I doubt we ever will. I can’t see any new info coming to light about this
Never heard the bellhop story beefore.
I used to do the bellhop hooky when I used to go to local punk gigs mate👍
I became a Bad Brains fan 2 years ago at age 58 (I didn't become a punker until I was in my 50s).
Im almost positive Sid Vicious only rung a bell for him because of the wrestler lol
Ha maybe true
this is a good one
Thanks!
You should read the book Nancys' mom wrote. I still think sid didnt do it, like so many people think it was a dealer, (i just started the video, so i dont know what you say) But check out the book
I will!
Title is fact. Everyone follows the leader. 👑
That's not the same Alan Parker. The Alan Parker that you mention is the director of Mississippi Burning and Pink Floyd's 'The Wall' starring Bob 'line my pocket' Geldof. Alan G Parker directed 'Love Kills' and 'Who Killed Nancy?' He had access to Sid's mother Anne Beverly for interviews. I think he has 2 books out there on the subject. Not knocking you BTW because most people don't give a shit about the Pistols and their history. It's good to see people still discussing the subject.
Ah, my bad. Shoulda looked into that more
I feel old. It was a drug deal gone to shit. Sid was the scapegoat. Sids mother helped him along. 'Sid Vicious was innocent'. The Exploited.
Sid was a junkie from his childhood, his Mum made him one. Sid was also someone with a history of violence. The only people in the room were Sid and Nancy. It was his knife. When out on bail, Sid seriously assaulted another person. Sid killed her, and since then, PR men have tried to lie about it.
I enjoy this definitely do more mysteries and conspiracies
Thanks!
Sid & Nancy Forever🔪
Fight for your right to party!!!! Mate👍
I think that's Mary Travers with Dylan and Neurith.
Thanks this was interesting, and the BBs were so influential for me as a kid.
Kool G Rap is the GOAT.
Interesting.
