@antiya1790 15% of Turkey's population living on the european side of the country and this 15% is larger than some of the small European countries' entire population. So I would count them in. It depends on what you mean by 'european'. They are in europe but not european languages imo. Spanish, english, french are spoken in different continents but they are still european languages. If u mean the languages spoken in the continent, yeah Turkish, Estonian Finnish and Hungarian are european languages.

"Bocadillo" (little morsel/bite) or "emparedado" ("walled in" -by the bread slices-) are the proper words for sandwich in Spanish from Spain, although it is true that we tend to call "sandwiches" (sadly often mispelled as sandwichs in fast food restaurants) those made with sliced bread.

Turkish has two words for wolf, Kurt and Börü. One (Kurt) is a loanword; possibly of Sodgian or Tocharian origin. The other, uncommon these days, is Old Turkic (Börü) In ancient times, Turks believed that mentioning the wolf by its "real" name would bring misfortune, so its foreign name was used in polite speech. Sort of like calling the male sexual organ by its Latin or Greek name, wouldn't you say?

I can say that 'sobaka' and 'pes' are equally used words in Ukrainian, the thing is that 'sobaka' is feminine gender gramatically and 'pes' is a musculine, so if U know the gender of the dog U can use 'pes' for a male dog and 'sobaka' for a female dog, if U don't know the gender of the dog, U can use any word, but 'sobaka' would be preferrable. Same is right in Russian with the words 'sabaka' and 'pios'.
