0:41 Pământ (Ro) is also derived from Lat. Pavimentum (pavement). There are also words derived from Terra: țară (meaning land and/or country), țărână (dust from Earth's surface, dirt), teren (terrain), teritoriu (territory).
2:07 Romanian also have ”arină”, having only with a regional usage currently. The city name of Reni (today in Ucraine, formerly in Moldavia and Romania), placed on a Danube's beach, is derived from this word.

0:41 Note: the Romanian word pământ (pronounced more like poment, o as in tO be, e like the e in garden) comes from Latin pavimentum, pronounced more like pawimentum. It's related to Spanish and Italian pavimento, only the avi vot smooshed together into a single vowel.
We Romanians have a word that comes from Terra, that being țară, but in Romanian it means a country. Same use as English land (Finland, Greenland, Iceland...).
I may be wrong but I think the astronomical name for our planet in Romanian is actually Tera too!

2:05 Techniquement, le terme « arène » peut également désigner le sable en français.
Néanmoins, il est peu usité dans ce sens-là de nos jours (en dehors de la poésie et autres genres littéraires) et son usage est principalement reservé à se référer à un amphithéâtre - c'est-à-dire le lieu où se situait le sable, justement - ou alors un lieu où sont organisés des combats, comme c'est le cas en espagnol, en portugais, roumain ou même en anglais par exemple.
