Thanks, Benny! That was one of the best displays I have ever seen. Camp is always a good time even if the fishing is slower. Do you guys see the light shows when you are at camp? I’m assuming you’ve seen a few northern lights in your days at deer camp.

Yeah prices are pretty high! I am very fortunate to have a cabin property like this. We may not see a lot of deer but we also have access to thousand of acres of wilderness hunting where we are unlikely to come across another hunter. I hope you and your family and friends make great memories at your new place!

First time I’ve tried it. Very good

The fish are very healthy. Happy they increased the slot to 18” to allow for additional size structure. Many times you fish lakes where you catch a lot of 17-18” fish that have to go back. Seems these lakes always have a good amount of walleyes. We didn’t catch any large northerns this trip but the lakes certainly have some world class pike and a few muskies if you know where to find them.

They have some beautiful campsites and the fishing is pretty decent.

Yes, burgers are so easy. A lot of times we make beans, green beans, or corn. Lately it’s all meat.

Not exactly ideal or remote, but I'm 40 years old and have worked my whole life to this point just for that. Making do with what I can afford
