Fishing Opening Weekend at the Remote Off-grid Cabin

- Northern lights, remote, off grid, fishing opener at the cabin. Was a quiet weekend at the lake with some beautiful weather and so so fishing. Smallmouth bass and northern pike action was decent. We managed to boat a few walleyes at the end of the trip. The aurora borealis stole the show as the northern lights were some of the most spectacular I have ever seen.

Thanks, Benny! That was one of the best displays I have ever seen. Camp is always a good time even if the fishing is slower. Do you guys see the light shows when you are at camp? I’m assuming you’ve seen a few northern lights in your days at deer camp.

That's a good light show, I grew up on the iron range and that ones above average.
It was the best I’d ever seen. Where did you grow up? I’m originally from the range as well.
A catch and cook would be awesome. I love shore lunch batter. She would learn to love walleye too.
