I watched a DNR official talking about slot limits and size, and there is evidence that seems to suggest a lot of eggs go un-fertilized because not only are slots targeting year class but also gender males being smaller. Unlike humans gender in fish still matters..
Interesting! There are still unknown variables and studies in process, but that makes sense definitely. We're happy to see this fishery start to come back however. (Lol on the last comment! 😆 🤣 facts about nature!) Thanks for watching!
I would change the sticker on the motor paint it white and call it the squirty johnson
😄 🤣 😂
Tell that guy in the back to be careful out there holding 2 rods like that because they WILL ticket you for that
No doubt. Fortunately, we have a good relationship with our local CO's. And we appreciate their services, thanks for watching!
Great video!! Thanks for the great info.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it, and glad it was helpful!!
That looked like a hell of a traffic jam out there😂 good to see you come out with a cooler full of walleyes. Great day on the water!
It was a day full of "bumper boats" but an epic day fishing overall.
Hows the boat setup working? Found anything you need to change/modify?
We're loving it! We haven't really found anything to modify necessarily, a few more additions like pedistal seats, and corner-caps around the diamond plating on the box seats (those edges are a little sharp). We would also like to get some beaver-tail pods on the back and a 4-stroke jet motor eventually in the future but nothing really needing immediate changes. This is our favorite boat we have ever owned by far! Wish we would've done this sooner!
Looks like it was a good day off fishing. Alot of boats out there.
The amount of boats was unbelievable! But the fishing was good at least! We really had to grind it out to catch the last couple though.
Were you fishing by Third River and Stoney?
Yes we were!
