I’ve been in that situation before up there. Not fun, but it was a good learning experience. Glad it wasn’t one of your crew that went through! Never made it up there this winter, so it’s good to see some of the familiar scenery! Hope all is well! ~Teddy
Teddy! Hope all is well man. This is the only trip we made. With kids and winter activities cabin trips are few and far between. Hopefully you can make it over to voyageurs this spring.
Love the videos! Was curious though if you're going to post a video of the 2022 deer season? Myself and others I know have been anxious for it! Keep up the good work!
Appreciate the anticipation; however, I will likely not be putting out a 2022 video due to some unfortunate events that transpired. We lost one of our camp members in an emotional season and out of respect to everyone in camp and his family I would have a difficult time releasing a video. I will drop a tribute video for our friend. I have been working on one but it has been difficult to release. Apologies for this, but I plan to have a 2023 deer season video and many more.
I popped through the ice a few years ago on the south end of long lake(my cabin lake) by you guys. Luckily on foot and able to get a fire goingvto warm up/dry off a bit before i hoofed it back to the north end of the lake.
@@arrowheadangler yeah i heard benie finally punched out. Was a good dude if you got to know him. There was one that was located by moose. Not sure if hes still around or if fondie or stein finally got him before stein retired for taking deer out of season. I know he was really going after him for several years for it. Guy takes 2 deer a year and they gotta screw with him. Leave him be. He wasnt bugging anybody.
Yeah Bernie was good guy. Never knew of the Moose Lake hermit. Fondie is a piece of work that is for sure. I realize they are doing a job but we have to have some common sense.
Its such a great feeling to get to the cabin after being away from it for so long. Heading to mine next weekend , cant wait !
Thanks for sharing.
Hope it all goes well for you!

Scary. I’ve never gone through up there but have heard some stories from the hermits with close calls. Hopefully everyone was ok during this event.
@@arrowheadangler yeah the hermit over by moose lake if you have met him is a cool old guy with a ton of cool stories to tell.
I’ve never met the hermit on Moose. Is he the one with the cabin on the lake? I’ve met the hermits over by Gannon. Bernie passed recently.

Yikes, that looked like a bad situation
Yeah, hoping they are ok. Never heard about it but it was gone the following morning.
I was wondering when you were going to post another video
Yeah, took a little bit to get back to the cabin. Was an emotional trip but hoping to get back up again soon.
@@arrowheadangler looking forward to more videos I'm actually thinking about getting into the RUclips business as well
That’s awesome! Can’t wait to see the videos!
