- Annual cabin trip with the boys. Walleyes wouldn’t leave us alone but we managed to catch some nice smallmouth bass. The scenery in the greater Voyageurs area never disappoints! Thanks! Was a fun weekend. There will be another video coming out next week with our walleye catch from the day before. We portages into one of the remote lakes nearby and caught some nice eaters. Do you fish in the area much?
@@arrowheadangler Nice, looking forward to the walleye video. I have fished Echo Lake before but didnt do too great. I mostly fish east of there all the way to the north shore. Tofte, Ely, Isabella area.
Awesome! Lots of nice lakes in that country. I’ve fished dumbell, silver island, and windy. Beautiful lakes. Further east there is a lot of good stocked brook trout water too!
Hopefully this weekend I'll pop over from long lake to your lake with my Lil grumman sport boat on my quad.
